What happened to the 484-post recruitment?
The bank’s notice, published on 19 December 2023, announced 484 vacancies under the 2024–25 recruitment cycle. Although the original notice called for applications through 9 January 2024, the bank later extended the deadline to 16 January. On 6 February 2024, it announced that further processing had been cancelled in light of an order from the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, in Writ Petition No. 379 of 2024.
In its recruitment notice, the bank said that fees already paid by candidates “will be refunded in due course.” That statement does not establish that refunds were completed or give a refund date.

The notice included tentative examination and selection dates. Because the bank subsequently cancelled the process, those dates should not be read as confirmation that an examination or local-language test took place.

What were the application fees?
The original 2023 notification listed these charges, inclusive of GST. They are historical amounts, not instructions to pay for an active application.

Can candidates still apply?
No. The application window closed in January 2024, and the bank cancelled further processing the following month. The original “apply till 9 January” wording refers to the initial deadline; the bank’s extension moved it to 16 January before the cancellation.

What about eligibility and the exam?
The recruitment is not active, and the cancellation notice does not provide a basis for treating an examination as forthcoming. Exact eligibility rules, including age, education and language requirements, as well as a detailed exam pattern or syllabus, are not established by the notices cited here. The original schedule’s selection stages were tentative, not proof that any stage occurred.
