The notice concerns examinations held on 3, 10 and 11 August 2024. It says candidates who appeared could access their individual scores and Tier 2 or skill-test shortlisting status through their application login; it does not publish an open list of individual scores. The archive confirms the historical listing, but does not guarantee that an old result destination remains accessible today. Use the official archive and your candidate application account rather than relying on an unverified link.

- Locate the result entry dated 5 September 2024 that matches your post group: Assistant Secretary or various Administrative Posts, Groups A, B and C.
- Follow the result link and sign in to the application account used for your recruitment application.
- Check the displayed score and whether you have been shortlisted for Tier 2 or a skill test, as applicable to your post.
If the old destination no longer works, the archive remains the appropriate official starting point. The notice describes the application-login process, not a separate public score list.

The official notice also reported changes to selection in certain subjects; the announced process did not continue unchanged for every advertised post or subject. CBSE said numbers in Information Technology/Computer Science and Statistics were too low to meet the intended 1:10 shortlisting ratio, and the process for those posts or subjects was cancelled. It also described lowered criteria in some subjects and reduced vacancies where enough eligible candidates remained unavailable, and reported cancellations for Chemistry, Physical Education and Psychology. These are the notice’s specific statements, not a blanket description of all recruitment results.
As a later, separate update, CBSE’s recruitment archive lists a Junior Engineer and Junior Translation Officer result notification dated 21 January 2025. That later notice should not be confused with the results announced on 5 September 2024.
What the notice’s candidate figures mean
For Assistant Secretary (Administration), CBSE’s 5 September notice reports 32,232 registered candidates in the General category and 10,566 General-category candidates who appeared. These are category-specific figures for that post, not totals across all candidates or all recruitment posts. The notice provides separate category and post or subject figures for vacancies, shortlists and cutoffs; any such figure should be read with its post and category attached.

“CBSE result 2024” can also refer to school examination results. Class X and XII results are a separate matter from these recruitment results and appear in the CBSE Exam Results 2024 archive. For this announcement, candidates should use the recruitment archive and their application login.
