The Tel Aviv-based startup says it is building runtime security for enterprise AI agents: monitoring what agents do and blocking activity it considers unsafe or unauthorized before actions complete. Those capabilities remain company-described claims; the launch coverage does not establish independent performance results, customer deployments, public pricing, or trial access.
What happened with Capsule Security?
Capsule Security, founded in 2025, announced its launch and $7 million seed financing on April 15, 2026. The company identified Lama Partners as lead investor and Forgepoint Capital International as a participating investor. Forgepoint, by contrast, described itself as co-leading the round with Lama Partners. The two descriptions differ, so the investors’ roles are best reported with attribution rather than reduced to a single lead designation.

The founders are CEO Naor Paz and CTO Lidan Hazout. Capsule’s launch materials associate Paz with F5 and Israel’s Unit 8200, and Hazout with SecuredTouch and Transmit Security. Forgepoint’s investor profile offers more detail about their careers, but those descriptions come from the investor.
What does Capsule Security do?
Capsule describes its product as a runtime security or “trust” layer for enterprise AI agents. The idea is to monitor an agent while it is operating, not just to assess the software or permissions around it beforehand. Capsule says its platform can detect and block unsafe or unauthorized activity before an agent completes an action, with the goal of limiting prompt manipulation, abnormal behavior, and data exfiltration when agents access sensitive information or carry out workflows.

That is Capsule’s product positioning, not a demonstrated independent result. Launch coverage did not provide efficacy benchmarks, customer references, or an independent evaluation of the platform.
How does Capsule say it secures AI agents at runtime?
Capsule says it observes agent behavior and can intervene before tool actions complete. Its stated design aims to add controls between an agent’s instructions and its actions, where a manipulated prompt or unexpected behavior could lead to an unwanted operation. CEO and co-founder Naor Paz said at launch: “AI agents are quickly becoming a new class of privileged user in the enterprise, except they can act at machine speed and they do not behave like deterministic software,”

Capsule’s launch materials listed support for Cursor, Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot Studio, ServiceNow, and Salesforce Agentforce. The company said the product is designed to work without proxies, gateways, SDKs, or browser extensions and to send agent telemetry into existing security workflows. These are launch-era vendor statements; the reported coverage did not include an independent compatibility matrix or performance evaluation.

Who funded Capsule’s $7 million seed round?
Lama Partners and Forgepoint Capital International were the named investors. Capsule’s announcement called Lama the lead and named Forgepoint alongside it; Forgepoint said it co-led the financing with Lama. The announcement materials did not establish any further breakdown of the round.
Forgepoint’s case for investing is an investor’s view, not independent validation of the product. In the company release, founding general partner at Lama Partners and Capsule board member Ron Zalkind said: “Security leaders understand that legacy tools were never designed to interpret intent, context, and real-time behavior, which are essential for securing dynamic agentic environments.” Chris Krebs, described in that release as CISA’s first director, also argued that conventional tools leave a “runtime gap” between prompt and action. Both statements were made in the context of Capsule’s launch.

Alongside its launch, Capsule disclosed two vulnerabilities involving enterprise agent platforms:
- ShareLeak: Capsule described this as a critical-severity indirect prompt injection vulnerability in Microsoft Copilot Studio. Launch coverage identified it as CVE-2026-21520 and reported that it had been patched.
- PipeLeak: Capsule described this as an attack in Salesforce Agentforce triggered through untrusted lead-form inputs. SiliconANGLE reported that Salesforce said it was aware of the vulnerability and had addressed it.
Those remediation details reflect reports made around the April 2026 launch; they are not a fresh check of current vendor advisories.
What claims and evidence should readers distinguish?
Capsule’s press release also said that more than 80% of Fortune 500 companies actively use agents built with low-code and no-code tools, attributing that figure to Microsoft. The underlying Microsoft publication was not verified in the launch coverage, so the figure should be understood as a Microsoft-attributed statistic repeated by Capsule, not an independently confirmed measurement here.
The company release said Capsule was one of six finalists in the CrowdStrike, AWS, and NVIDIA Startup Accelerator at RSA Conference, and that it beat out nearly 1,000 startups to pitch. These are claims in Capsule’s release, rather than independently assessed measures of product quality.
