If you can’t log in to Fidelity, choose the recovery step that matches the problem: reset a forgotten username or password, troubleshoot a login page that loops, or request a new multifactor authentication code. Start from Fidelity’s official website or app—not a link in an unexpected email or text.
Forgot your username or password, or think you’re locked out?
Use Fidelity’s official help page to reach the “Reset Your Username or Password” option. Fidelity says repeated incorrect password entries can lock an account; a password reset is then required. Follow the prompts on Fidelity’s site rather than trying more guesses.
Fidelity says the same credentials can be used for Fidelity.com, NetBenefits.com, Fidelity Charitable, and several other listed channels. That does not establish that every separately branded or employer-managed portal uses the same sign-in, so check the specific service’s official help if the recovery route does not match your login page.
Does the login page return to itself without an error?
If the page reloads or sends you back to the sign-in screen after you enter credentials, browser settings may be involved. Fidelity’s workplace login help names blocked cookies as a possible cause and recommends using an updated browser. That guidance is for plan sponsors or investment professionals, not a universal diagnosis for retail Fidelity.com sign-ins.

- Check that your browser allows cookies for the Fidelity site, then try signing in again.
- Update your browser if it is out of date.
- If the loop continues, try a private or incognito window, or another browser. A notice on Fidelity’s password-reset endpoint has attributed access trouble to some third-party browser plugins and suggested those alternatives; it may describe a temporary issue, not the cause of every login failure. Is the problem a multifactor authentication code?
If a code is rejected, request a new one and enter the current code in Fidelity’s official site or app. Fidelity’s two-factor authentication guidance says to call if you no longer have access to the enrolled device or authenticator app. Find contact details by navigating to Fidelity’s official site yourself.
Never give a security code to an unsolicited caller or enter it on a site you did not reach through Fidelity’s official channels.

When should you contact Fidelity?
Contact Fidelity through the official site or app if username or password recovery fails, you cannot complete MFA recovery, or you suspect someone else accessed your account. Fidelity’s password-protection guidance states, “Fidelity will never ask you for your password.” Do not send your password or security codes to anyone. Use official contact and reporting routes if you suspect compromise. Protect your password
Do not treat the phone number on Fidelity’s workplace login-help page as general consumer support: that page is specifically for plan sponsors or investment professionals.
