Yes. Uber Eats’ multi-store feature lets you add items from a second eligible nearby store to the same order without a separate delivery fee for that added store. That does not make the entire order fee-free: other charges may still appear at checkout, and availability depends on your location and which stores can fulfill the order.
What Uber Eats’ multi-store ordering includes
Uber announced the feature on October 11, 2023, saying it was live nationwide in the United States. It lets customers add items from a second nearby restaurant, convenience store, or liquor store in the same session. Uber’s current Help article describes pre-checkout bundling across two stores, so this is not an unlimited multi-merchant cart.
The original announcement said the second store could be added “without paying an additional Delivery Fee.” Uber Help now says, “There are no additional costs associated with pre-checkout bundling.” These statements concern the added store or bundling feature—not every charge on the order.
How to add a second store
- Add your first store’s items. Choose a restaurant or other available store and add the items you want.
- Look for the bundle option. After adding the first store’s items, select the option to bundle another store. Uber’s 2023 instructions called it “Bundle another store”; current Help uses “Bundle order.” Wording or placement may vary in the app or on the website.
- Choose a second eligible store and add items. The available choices are determined by what Uber offers for your order and location.
- Review checkout before placing the order. Check the item totals, delivery and other fees, and final amount. The feature does not promise that the total will be lower than placing separate orders.
Why fees may still appear
Bundling does not waive ordinary order charges. Uber’s fee guidance says charges can include delivery, service, small-order, long-range, priority, marketplace, local operating, and other fees. Which ones apply can depend on the merchant, location, and order conditions. The delivery-fee claim is about avoiding a separate delivery fee for the added store; it is not a guarantee that checkout will show no delivery fee or other fees at all. Review the fee breakdown and total in your own checkout.

Availability, fulfillment, and delivery
Availability varies by address
Uber’s 2023 announcement described a nationwide U.S. launch. Uber Eats Japan announced a staged rollout there on October 24, 2024, initially for some users, with expansion planned. Those launch announcements do not establish current availability in every country, market, or address. Uber’s general Help article does not provide a complete current market list, so check whether the bundle option and a second store appear in your own app.
The second store must be eligible
Uber described the second store as nearby but did not publish a universal distance threshold. A store may not appear as an option for your order, and the available choices can vary by location and fulfillment.

A bundle may not remain a two-store order
Uber Help says that if one store cannot fulfill the bundled order, the result becomes a single-store order. It also notes that tips may be divided between two couriers: percentage tips according to basket size, and flat-dollar tips evenly. A bundle therefore should not be assumed to arrive with one courier.

Pre-checkout bundling is a way for one customer to add items from a second store to an order. For a large group order involving multiple restaurants, Uber Help instructs the creator to make multiple carts; each restaurant has its own group-order link. That is a separate workflow.
