Is the 1,000-point Microsoft Rewards offer real?
Microsoft Rewards is a free program, but that does not mean every member is entitled to this particular bonus. Microsoft says earning methods and offers vary by country, region, account, and the activities shown on a member’s dashboard. Its general program information does not promise a universal 1,000-point promotion. See Microsoft’s Rewards overview.

A Microsoft-hosted Q&A response dated July 6, 2026 describes a stamp-card activity in which members can earn 1,000 points after collecting 12 stamps. The response was written by an independent advisor, not published as formal promotion rules. Treat it as a description of an activity some members may see—not proof that the same offer is currently available to you. Your dashboard’s displayed terms are the authority for your account. Read the Q&A description.
Old articles, social posts, and videos may describe an offer that has expired or changed. Check the official dashboard rather than relying on an old claim that everyone can get the points.

How the reported stamp challenge works
In the Q&A description, a member earns a stamp by completing a qualifying seven-day streak; collecting 12 stamps is associated with a 1,000-point bonus. The response mentions possible activities such as Bing Search Streak, Daily Set Streak, and Bing App Streak. Follow the wording on your own offer if it differs.
- Complete the activity specified by the offer for seven consecutive days.
- Confirm that the dashboard records the completed streak and awards a stamp or puzzle piece.
- Continue until you reach the number of stamps shown in your offer; the reported version calls for 12.
- Check whether the offer requires you to claim the bonus, then review your points balance and activity history.
If an offer awards one stamp per seven-day cycle and requires 12 stamps, the theoretical minimum is 12 completed cycles. That is a conditional estimate, not a guaranteed completion time: the activity may differ, stamps may be earned another way, a missed day may interrupt progress, or the offer may expire or change.

How to check whether the offer is available to you
- Go to rewards.bing.com and sign in with the Microsoft account linked to your Rewards balance.
- Look through the Earn, Daily Set, streak, check-in, and promotional activity cards for wording about stamps, a puzzle, a streak, or a 1,000-point bonus.
- Open the card and read its full terms before doing the activity. Note the required app or device, daily deadline or reset time, stamp target, end date, and any claim button.
- Complete only the activity specified, then verify that each day or cycle registers before continuing.
Some activities may be limited to a particular app or mobile device. If an offer names Bing mobile, for example, check that experience as well as the desktop dashboard. Microsoft says some earning methods and daily limits vary by market; searches do not earn points in every country or region. Microsoft’s earning guide explains general ways to earn, including searches, quizzes, and selected activities.
Why you may not see the offer
- It is targeted or unavailable in your region. Members can see different activities, and an offer in one market does not establish availability elsewhere.
- The promotion has ended or rotated. A card described online may no longer be active on your dashboard.
- You are checking the wrong account. Make sure the signed-in account is the one connected to your Rewards balance.
- The activity is app-specific. Check the named Bing or Edge experience if the card requires it, and update the app if necessary.
- Your Rewards level is not a guarantee. Level 2 can provide access to exclusive offers, but it does not ensure access to this particular bonus.
Do not create extra accounts or use a VPN or region switching to chase a promotion. Microsoft identifies account, location, and policy issues—including VPN use and automated searches—as possible reasons for earning or redemption problems. Check Microsoft’s program guidance.

How to avoid losing streak progress
- Use the same Microsoft account for the activity and the Rewards dashboard.
- Complete the exact daily task shown on the card; a search alone may not count if the offer requires claiming a dashboard activity or completing all items in a Daily Set.
- Check the dashboard’s daily completion indicator rather than assuming an action registered.
- Pay attention to the deadline or reset time in the offer. Microsoft says a streak can reset if a Daily Set is not completed on time.
- Use ordinary, genuine activity. Microsoft says automated searches may not earn points, and searches stop counting once the applicable daily limit is reached.
Microsoft’s general guidance also lists region mismatches and account issues among potential causes of missing or incorrect balances. Avoid doing activity across different markets or trying to manufacture searches. See the Rewards troubleshooting guidance.
What to do if the 1,000 points do not arrive
First, refresh the dashboard and check the activity or order history. Review the offer again for a claim button or any final step; do not assume the bonus is automatic if its terms say otherwise. If the card shows completion but the points are missing, keep evidence and contact Rewards Support rather than repeatedly redoing the activity.

A separate Microsoft Q&A report about missing 1,000-point credit says Rewards Support is the channel that can inspect account activity and eligibility; an online report cannot establish that every member with a similar issue will receive a correction. See the support guidance in that Q&A.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What are 1,000 Microsoft Rewards points worth?
They are not cash: Microsoft says Rewards points have no cash value. As a rough illustration, Microsoft says about 5,000 points are usually needed for a reward worth about $5, but redemption values vary by reward and region. That makes a simple dollar conversion for 1,000 points unreliable. Check Microsoft’s earning and redemption guidance.

Microsoft also says points expire after 12 months without earning activity. If you collect the bonus, review the current terms and your account’s balance rather than treating points as cash or assuming they remain available indefinitely.
