Why BYD’s NEV total is not the BEV comparison
BYD also reported 3,260,146 new energy vehicle (NEV) sales for January–September 2025. That broader total includes passenger plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) as well as passenger BEVs; BYD lists the two categories separately in its filing.
