Arsenal confirmed in February 2026 that Bukayo Saka had signed a new long-term contract. BBC Sport reported that the five-season deal runs through 2030 and that sources expected Saka to earn more than £300,000 a week, making him Arsenal’s highest-paid player. Arsenal has not disclosed his salary, and reports differ on the contract’s end year.
What wages is Bukayo Saka expected to earn?
The best available estimate is more than £300,000 a week. BBC Sport attributed that figure to sources familiar with the deal and reported that it would make Saka Arsenal’s best-paid player. It is a press-reported estimate, not a salary figure confirmed by the club. BBC Sport’s report and Arsenal’s announcement do not provide an official wage breakdown.
The Guardian’s January 2026 report, published before the signing was announced, estimated earnings of more than £15 million a season, or approximately £300,000 a week. That, too, was a reported estimate rather than a disclosed contract figure. The Guardian’s account should not be treated as confirmation of guaranteed annual pay.
The available reporting does not establish Saka’s bonuses, image-rights payments, take-home pay after tax, or total contract value. Those amounts should not be inferred from the weekly estimate.

When does Saka’s new Arsenal contract end?
The published accounts do not agree on the end year, and Arsenal’s announcement calls the deal “long-term” without stating a specific expiry date in its accessible text.

For the specific end year, the distinction is between BBC Sport’s later post-signing report of 2030 and January’s earlier expectation of 2031. The club has not publicly specified an exact expiry date in the cited announcement.
