Which BSF posts were included?

The advertisement described relevant experience as desirable for Staff Nurse applicants, including work in tuberculosis, hospital administration, sister tutoring, public health, pediatrics or psychiatry. For ASI (Physiotherapist), it described six months’ experience in a qualifying government or recognized hospital or institution as desirable. Confirm the precise wording and all conditions in the complete advertisement copy.
Who was eligible?
The qualifications above are only the core educational requirements. Applicants also needed to meet the notice’s exact conditions for certificates, institutional recognition, registration where applicable, age, category-based relaxation and other criteria. The advertisement copy indicates that age limits differed by post and that the closing date was used to reckon age, but the individual limits and relaxation rules are not established here. The notice also indicated that 10% of Staff Nurse vacancies were reserved for ex-servicemen. Check the original advertisement for the full category-wise distribution and applicable conditions.

Scroll reported that the original application period ran from 19 May to 17 June 2024, followed by a reopened window from 11 to 25 July 2024. The window is closed; these dates do not apply to any later BSF recruitment.

Scroll reported historical fees of ₹200 for SI (Staff Nurse) and ₹100 for Group C posts, plus a ₹47.20 service charge. These were figures for this 2024 notice, not a current fee schedule.
