A contemporaneous Scroll report identified the notices as combatised_b/2024 and combatised_c/2024 and said applications were to be submitted through bsf.gov.in.
Application dates and current status
The reported application period was March 16 through April 15, 2024. April 15 was the last date to apply, as reported by Scroll and the secondary summary. That deadline has passed, so candidates cannot treat this notice as a current opening.

What is—and is not—established about eligibility and selection
The available secondary summary gives broad age ranges, fees, qualifications, pay and selection-stage information, but the original detailed BSF advertisements were not verified. Those overview details are not enough to establish the eligibility or terms for a specific post. Requirements such as age cut-off, qualifications, fee exemptions, pay level and selection stages can differ by role; do not rely on broad summaries as a substitute for the relevant official advertisement.

A July 2024 BSF corrigendum concerned a different set of roles: paramedical, SMT workshop, veterinary staff and librarian posts. It should not be combined with the March 2024 Air Wing and Engineering recruitment for 82 vacancies. BSF’s official website is the place to check for current notices and later updates.
