The application deadline for Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) recruitment to 57 consumer-disputes commission posts was March 6, 2025. The recruitment is not open now. BPSC’s February 17, 2026 examination calendar listed written exams for May 3–5, 2025, and said departmental direction was awaited in light of a Supreme Court order. What the 2025 BPSC recruitment covered
The recruitment combined three advertisements—01/2025, 02/2025 and 03/2025—for 57 vacancies in Bihar’s consumer-dispute redressal commissions. The roles were Judicial Member in the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and President or Member in District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions, under the Food and Consumer Protection Department. Deadline and examination-calendar update

- Written examination dates: BPSC’s calendar dated February 17, 2026 listed May 3–5, 2025 for the written examinations.
- Calendar remark: The same entry states, “Direction in light of Supreme Court Order awaited from department.” This is the calendar’s wording; it does not, by itself, establish the recruitment’s final present-day status.

What applicants were told about fees and applying
Scroll reported an application fee of Rs 200 for state SC/ST candidates, female candidates (whether unreserved or reserved), and candidates with disabilities; it reported Rs 750 for other categories. These amounts are details from the news report, not a substitute for the original BPSC advertisement. The original advertisements’ full eligibility criteria, age limits, pay scales, category-wise vacancy breakdowns and application instructions are not established here. Anyone checking the notice for historical or record-keeping purposes should verify details against the relevant original advertisement.

Scroll described the application process as visiting the BPSC website, choosing “Apply Online,” registering and logging in, completing the form, paying the fee, submitting the application and keeping a printout. Those steps applied to the 2025 application window and are not a route to apply now.
