Boxing Day Powerball results: draw 1493
PerthNow reported these winning numbers for the 26 December 2024 draw:
- Main numbers: 3, 9, 18, 1, 20, 28 and 29
- Powerball: 9
The report said there were two Division 2 winners, each taking home almost $200,000. It also listed 52 Division 3 winners, who received $9,307.55 each. PerthNow reported a $12 million Division 1 jackpot and said the following week’s jackpot was set to rise to $20 million. PerthNow’s report is the source for these draw-specific figures; the results have not been independently confirmed against an official draw-results page.
Why the winners received a Division 2 prize
Powerball uses seven main numbers drawn from 35 and one Powerball drawn from 20, according to The Lott’s Powerball guide. The Lott says a Division 1 win requires all seven main numbers and the Powerball in one game. Division 2 is a separate prize division; the near-$200,000 amounts above are the reported payouts for this particular draw, not a fixed prize for every draw.
