What did ‘Dog Man’ do in its second weekend?
AP reported that Dog Man fell 62% from its first weekend and had reached $54.1 million domestically over two weeks. The same report listed a $40 million production budget. Those are figures reported at the time, not current lifetime totals or a measure of profitability: box-office gross does not equal the amount returned to a film’s studio.

Was the next weekend bigger overall?
ScreenDollars, citing Comscore, reported total box-office revenue of $153.3 million for Feb. 14–16, 2025, compared with $78.6 million for the corresponding weekend in 2024. That industry-wide comparison covers a different weekend from AP’s Feb. 7–9 chart, so it should not be read as a change in the grosses for these three films.
