Borderlands 4 is already out, so this is a guide to comparing its editions—not a live preorder offer. At launch, 2K announced U.S. prices of $69.99 for Standard, $99.99 for Deluxe, and $129.99 for Super Deluxe. Deluxe adds the Bounty Pack Bundle; Super Deluxe also includes the Vault Hunter Pack and Ornate Order Pack. The original preorder period has ended, though 2K says the Gilded Glory Pack is sold separately after launch.
How much does Borderlands 4 cost?
2K announced these U.S. launch prices on June 16, 2025. They are historical list prices, not a guarantee of what a U.S. retailer charges today. Current prices and discounts depend on your region, platform, and seller. 2K’s edition announcement and its launch-day announcement list the same U.S. prices.

Edition contents and format details are listed in 2K’s Borderlands 4 support FAQ, updated June 30, 2026. The 2K store page accessed October 8, 2026 displayed MYR 239.00, MYR 329.00, and MYR 429.00 for Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe in a Malaysian-ringgit localized view. Those are regional storefront prices, not U.S. prices or a basis for converting to a universal price. Check your platform store or retailer for the current price in your region. 2K’s store listing may display a localized currency.
What does each higher-priced edition add?
Standard: the base game
Standard is the straightforward option if you want the game without bundled post-launch packs. It includes the base game, and it is the only edition for which 2K’s FAQ identifies a physical console version.

Deluxe: four Bounty Packs
Deluxe adds the Bounty Pack Bundle and Firehawk’s Fury Weapon Skin. The bundle comprises four separate post-launch DLC packs. 2K describes the packs as adding distinct areas, missions and bosses, Vault Cards, gear and weapons, vehicles, and cosmetics. The individual packs and bundle were also described as separately purchasable after launch, with the base game required. The extra cost buys bundled add-on content; it does not change the base game into a different edition of the main campaign.
Super Deluxe: story expansions and cosmetic sets
Super Deluxe includes the Deluxe content plus the Vault Hunter Pack and Ornate Order Pack. The Vault Hunter Pack contains two Story Packs, each with a new playable Vault Hunter, story and side missions, two map regions in total, and additional gear and cosmetics. The Ornate Order Pack contains four Vault Hunter skins, four heads, and four bodies. Choose this tier for the included story and map content as well as its cosmetics, rather than assuming the highest-priced edition is automatically the best value.

Is the Borderlands 4 preorder bonus still available?
No longer as a preorder offer: 2K said the preorder period ended at launch on September 12, 2025. The original offer was the Gilded Glory Pack, described in the June 2025 announcement as a Vault Hunter Skin, Weapon Skin, and ECHO-4 Drone Skin. The support FAQ, updated June 30, 2026, describes the pack as also including a Vault Hunter Head and four pieces of Legendary Gear, and says it is sold separately after launch with the base game required. Check your platform’s store for the pack’s current listing and availability; do not buy an edition expecting that you can still preorder it. 2K’s preorder announcement and the support FAQ document the timing and post-launch terms.
Can you buy a physical copy for PS5 or Xbox?
Yes. 2K’s support FAQ says Standard Edition is available physically for consoles, including PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, or digitally for the listed platforms. Deluxe and Super Deluxe are digital only. Confirm the platform, physical format, stock, and current price on the retailer’s own listing before ordering.

The GameStop ECHO-4 Bundle is separate collector merchandise, not a game edition. The FAQ describes it as including an ECHO-4 statue, Vault Symbol necklace, Kairos map, four double-sided lithograph art prints, and a SHiFT code for five Golden Keys. The game is not included; check GameStop’s current listing for availability and terms.
When and where did Borderlands 4 launch?
2K announced worldwide release on September 12, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Nintendo Switch 2 version was announced for October 3, 2025. 2K said Steam and Epic purchases are also playable through NVIDIA GeForce NOW. Online play requires an internet connection; cross-play requires a SHiFT Account, and console online play requires a separate paid subscription. Which edition makes sense for your budget?
- Choose Standard if you want the base game and prefer to decide on add-ons later, or you want a physical console copy.
- Consider Deluxe if you want the four Bounty Packs and their described missions, areas, gear, and cosmetics bundled with the base game.
- Consider Super Deluxe if the two Story Packs, new playable Vault Hunters, map regions, and Ornate Order cosmetics are worth the additional cost to you.
- Compare current prices before buying. The published U.S. figures above are launch prices; regional storefronts, retailers, and discounts can differ.
Post-launch plans included both paid Story and Bounty Packs and free seasonal mini-events and Invincible Bosses. 2K cautioned that DLC timing could change, so the roadmap is not a reliable schedule of what is currently available.
