Eligibility depended on the post
There was no single eligibility rule for all 1,267 positions. The advertisement set requirements by role, including age, education, any specified professional qualification and post-qualification work experience. Candidates also had to be willing to serve anywhere in India. The notice stated: “Only Candidates willing to serve anywhere in India, should apply.”
Example: Agriculture Marketing Officer
For Agriculture Marketing Officer (Scale I), the notice required graduation in any discipline, a two-year full-time postgraduate degree or diploma in a listed area—such as sales or marketing, agri-business, rural management or finance—and at least two years’ experience in agri-lending sales in the banking or NBFC sector. This example applies to that post; it should not be used to infer eligibility for a Manager role or another vacancy. Eligibility was assessed as of 1 December 2024. Check the role-specific entry in the detailed advertisement for the exact criteria and applicable age limits.

Original application fees and payment terms
The following charges were the historical terms in the 2024 notice, not current application fees:
| Candidate category | Fee stated in the notice |
|---|---|
| General, EWS and OBC | Rs. 600 plus applicable taxes and payment gateway charges |
| SC, ST, PwD and women | Rs. 100 plus applicable taxes and payment gateway charges |
The notice said the fee was non-refundable. It also said an application counted as complete only after online fee payment was made by the deadline, and instructed applicants to retain the acknowledgement number and a copy of the application. Document verification formed part of the process.
How selection was described
The notice allowed for an online test, a psychometric test or another test the bank considered suitable, followed by further selection stages as applicable. It did not establish one guaranteed sequence for every candidate or post. Shortlisting and selection steps were provisional pending verification; appearing in a test or being shortlisted did not by itself guarantee an employment offer.
