The available sources document the reported figure and described features, but do not establish that the dashboard caused the fundraising or that BlockDAG outperformed Avalanche or Stellar.
What the $34 million figure actually represents
TechBullion published the headline “BlockDAG’s Dashboard Innovation Spurs $34M Presale, Surpassing Avalanche And Stellar Developments” on May 28, 2024. Its report described the presale as having raised $34 million. Blockonomi had published a promotional report the day before, and BlockDAG Network said the same amount in a May 29 company release carried by GlobeNewswire.
These are reports of a fundraising claim, including a statement from the project itself; they are not independent verification of proceeds. The reviewed material does not provide an audited total or an on-chain reconciliation confirming $34 million. Readers should therefore treat the figure as an amount reported in 2024, not as an independently established result or a current presale total.

What the dashboard was described as offering
TechBullion highlighted real-time news updates, a dashboard wallet balance and a preview of a leaderboard. BlockDAG’s wiki documentation describes additional dashboard areas, including rank, transactions and referrals. It says the leaderboard displays the top 30 presale investors ranked by the USD value of their purchases.
Those descriptions establish what the project’s materials said the dashboard included or would show. They do not establish how often users used the features, whether the features changed purchasing decisions, or whether they generated any particular amount of funding. A dashboard can make account information and project updates more visible; that is different from evidence of a causal effect on sales.

Why “surpassing Avalanche and Stellar” is not a measured comparison
The headline invokes Avalanche and Stellar, but the TechBullion article does not set out a shared metric, comparison period or method for ranking the networks overall. A reported presale amount and dashboard features cannot, by themselves, establish superiority over other blockchain networks. The “surpassing” language should be read as promotional framing, not as a like-for-like performance finding.

A meaningful comparison would first identify the question—such as protocol capabilities, transaction activity over a specified period, ecosystem partnerships or fundraising—and then compare equivalent data for each network over the same dates. The cited headline provides no such framework.

- Separate reporting from verification. The $34 million figure appeared in promotional coverage and a project-issued release; the sources cited here do not independently audit it.
- Separate a product feature from an outcome. Documentation of a wallet view or leaderboard does not show that either feature caused investment or presale proceeds.
- Keep the date attached to the claim. This is a May 2024 report, not evidence of BlockDAG’s present status, fundraising or product availability.
- Do not treat the headline as investment guidance. It does not establish the value, risk or likely return of participating in a crypto presale.
BlockDAG’s current website makes claims about its ecosystem, apps, miners and exchange availability. Those details can change and should be checked on the BlockDAG website rather than projected backward onto the May 2024 report.
