What “170K community” gets wrong
The recap’s wording was “over 170,000 unique holders.” A holder count and a community-member count describe different things: holding tokens does not establish that a person participates in a community, and the article does not say that the number represented community members. The headline’s “170K Community” wording therefore changes the reported metric.

Why the LINK and Solana claims are not current signals
The article’s publication date places its market and network claims in late 2024. The available material gives no current LINK price, timestamped price source, or sufficiently specified Solana activity measurement. It also does not provide enough information to compare LINK, Solana and BlockDAG on current performance.
These are different kinds of claims: a token-price move needs a dated price series and a defined comparison period; whale activity needs a definition of what counts as a significant transaction and a measurement window; and a transaction total needs a clear time period and counting method. Without those details, the headline’s language cannot establish that the market conditions it described still hold.

How to read later BlockDAG claims
BlockDAG’s project website publishes its own roadmap and growth figures, including holder, miner and app-user numbers. Those are project claims and should be attributed to the project rather than treated as independent verification of the 2024 recap.
A separate page calling itself BDAG Community says it is independent of the parties behind previous presales and miner sales. It describes a canonical network with chain ID 1404 and genesis on 10 February 2026, and points to bdag.co for X30/X100 availability. Those statements belong to that community page; they do not establish the terms of any seller, independently verify the earlier fundraising or holder figures, or show that the network described is the one discussed in the 2024 AMA recap.

What a personal-finance reader should verify before acting
- For a price claim: check a timestamped LINK quote and the period used to call a move a surge.
- For network activity: use a dated primary data source that defines the metric and its time window.
- For BlockDAG claims: distinguish project statements and secondary recaps from independently verifiable records, and confirm what a holder count actually measures.
None of the figures in the 2024 recap, on their own, establishes an investment return or a present-day reason to buy or sell a token.
