The available evidence does not verify a $136 million BlockDAG presale or a comprehensive audit of its mainnet. Halborn’s February 2025 report covers one vesting-contract file and says its 12 findings were solved. BlockDAG announced “Mainnet Live” on 14 September 2026, but that announcement is not independent confirmation of network performance or a full-chain audit. The available ICP and Bittensor sources also do not provide comparable price forecasts.
Is BlockDAG’s $136 million presale figure verified?
Not by the primary material available here. The $136 million figure appears in a TechYorker article, but the reviewed BlockDAG sources do not independently substantiate that total. Treat it as a claim attributed to that secondary article, not as a confirmed amount raised. Independently auditable proceeds evidence was not located.
The same TechYorker article describes a formal mainnet audit, a joint findings report, and remediation timelines. Those broader audit claims are not corroborated by the primary audit evidence described below. A presale total and an audit claim are separate questions: neither should be taken as established just because both appear in one article.
What did Halborn actually audit?
One vesting-contract file
Halborn’s report identifies an engagement running from 5–7 February 2025. It assessed one file, TreasuryVesting.sol, from a private BlockDAG repository and reviewed commit V2. That is evidence of a scoped contract assessment—not an audit of the entire BlockDAG blockchain.

Findings and limits
Halborn reported 12 findings, all marked solved, including one critical and five medium findings. The report describes remediation for the reported issues, but its scope excludes third-party dependencies, economic attacks, and new features or implementations added after the remediation commit IDs. “Solved” therefore refers to the findings in that assessment; it does not guarantee that the wider system is safe or that later code has been assessed.
CertiK’s project listing also identifies one available code audit and names TreasuryVesting.sol as the audited file. Its listing says formal verification covered no properties. That listing should not be confused with an independent review of consensus, node software, token distribution, live operations, or economic design.

BlockDAG’s security page says a full-scale third-party audit of the entire blockchain would be initiated following beta testnet release. The page’s timing and status may be stale relative to later project announcements; it is evidence of what that page says, not proof of the current audit roadmap. Taken together, these sources do not establish that a comprehensive mainnet audit has been completed.
Does “Mainnet Live” confirm an operating network?
BlockDAG’s keynote page, dated 14 September 2026, carries the announcement “Mainnet Live.” This confirms that the project made that announcement. It does not independently verify throughput, decentralization, user adoption, exchange availability, or the security of live network components.

BlockDAG’s developer hub describes the project as a proof-of-work Layer 1 using directed acyclic graph architecture and advertises EVM compatibility. Those are project descriptions, not independent measurements of how the network performs in production. Readers evaluating the launch should keep the existence of an announcement separate from evidence about the network’s operation.
How does BlockDAG compare with ICP and Bittensor forecasts?
The available material supports a limited comparison of project descriptions and evidence—not a numeric price-forecast comparison.

Because the available sources do not establish forecasts for all three projects on a common basis, a table of projected prices or returns would create a false comparison. Before comparing any forecast, check who produced it, when it was published, its time horizon, the assumptions behind it, and whether the figure is a model output or commentary. Forecasts are speculative and should not be treated as expected returns.

- Network purpose and design: distinguish a project’s own description of its consensus or incentive model from independently measured performance.
- Live operation: seek evidence beyond a launch announcement, such as independently verifiable network activity and operating data.
- Security scope: identify the date, code or system examined, findings, remediation status, and exclusions. A contract review does not stand in for a whole-network assessment.
- Token supply and distribution: look for verifiable documentation rather than relying on an uncorroborated fundraising headline.
- Forecast quality: compare only forecasts with clearly identified authors, dates, horizons, assumptions, and methods.
On the evidence available, BlockDAG has a documented assessment of a specific vesting contract and a project-announced mainnet launch; the $136 million total and a comprehensive mainnet audit are not independently established. The cited ICP and Bittensor material does not support a like-for-like forecast comparison.
