Where did BlockDAG’s $10 target come from?
The claim appeared in a TechBullion article by David Bryan published May 25, 2024, and in a BlockDAG Network press release distributed by GlobeNewswire on April 23, 2024. The press release said, “Analysts have predicted that BlockDAG Network’s value could reach $10 by 2025 and $30 by 2030, fueled by its unique features and growing adoption.”
That wording attributes the forecast to unnamed analysts, but the cited passage does not identify them, provide their analysis, or explain how they arrived at either price. Because the claim was also published in an issuer press release, it should be treated as a project-supplied promotional forecast—not evidence of independent analyst consensus.
TechBullion reported that BDAG was priced at $0.009 in presale Batch 15 and that the project had sold 9.7 billion coins and raised more than $32.8 million. Those are figures reported in that May 2024 article, not current totals or independently verified measurements.

How did BlockDAG’s own targets change?
Later BlockDAG publications used a different near-term target and added conditions to the $10 scenario. The changes matter because they show that the project’s own forecast narrative was not a single, consistently presented path to $10 by 2025.

The shift from a headline of $10 by 2025 to a December 2024 target of $1, followed by a September 2025 account of $10 as a demanding longer-term scenario, makes the original deadline especially important to qualify. These are project forecasts from different dates, not a documented independent model or a reliable record of market performance.

Was the $10 target reached in 2025?
The cited material does not verify BDAG’s realized price during 2025, and it does not establish a historical price series that can be used to compare market performance with the forecast. Since 2025 has passed, the target is now a historical claim; it would be inaccurate to say it was met or missed on the basis of these publications alone.
A proper outcome check would require a reliable historical market-price source and a clearly defined measure—for example, whether the claim refers to a brief intraday high, a closing price, or a sustained trading level, and on which market or venue. A stated target is not proof that the market traded at that value.

What would have to be true for $10 to be plausible?
A token price target is not meaningful on its own. To assess what $10 implies, a reader would need, at minimum, the relevant circulating or fully diluted token supply, the date and supply assumptions used, and a credible method for connecting demand or network use to the token’s value. The cited forecasts do not provide that valuation framework.
The project’s September 2025 post named demand and real-world use, along with mass adoption, integrations, and institutional interest, as conditions for a $10 scenario. Those are possible drivers to investigate, not evidence that the conditions have occurred or that a particular price follows from them. Without supply assumptions and a transparent method, the $10 figure cannot be tested as a valuation.

- Check who issued a price target and whether the analysts, assumptions, and method are disclosed; the original $10 claim does not supply those details.
- Separate a project’s promotional forecast from independently supported analysis and from an asset’s actual market price.
