No. Registration for Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Advertisement No. 01/2024/ESTT is closed. BIS listed the application window as September 9, 2024, to midnight on September 30, 2024. The old “ends today” headline is not current, and this notice’s application period cannot be used to apply now.
Is BIS recruitment 2024 registration still open?
No. The BIS recruitment notice gave the online registration period as September 9, 2024 (00:00 hrs) to September 30, 2024 (midnight). That deadline passed in 2024; the notice is not an active application opportunity.

The notice also said that queries about difficulties completing the online application would be entertained only if received by 10:00 hrs on September 30, 2024. That support cutoff was part of the closed application cycle and does not reopen registration.
Can I apply for the PA, AD or other posts now?
Not through this 2024 application window. Do not treat an old “Click here to apply online” link or a headline saying registration ends today as evidence that applications are currently being accepted. The detailed advertisement PDF linked from the notice was unavailable for verification, so the stated 345 vacancies, post-wise vacancy counts, eligibility, fees and selection conditions are not confirmed here.

Where can I check BIS recruitment notices and results?
Use the official BIS recruitment advertisements and results archive. BIS’s archive includes multiple recruitment notices, so match the post and advertisement number carefully and check the notice’s date and application period before deciding whether a vacancy is open.
The archive records later notices connected to Advertisement No. 01/2024/ESTT, including call-letter information in November 2024 and Group A interview shortlisting in January 2025. A later BIS skill-test result page names Assistant Section Officer, Personal Assistant, Stenographer, Senior Secretariat Assistant and Junior Secretariat Assistant posts. These updates show that the selection process continued after applications closed, but they do not establish the final status of every post as of October 2026. Check the relevant official notice for the latest update rather than assuming all results are final.
