Published photos and a first-person account from Who What Wear beauty editor Kaitlyn McLintock show how it looked during one overnight use, but those images and results are her experience—not a test conducted for this review. The available clinical-looking figures also differ between Biodance and Sephora, and the pages do not provide enough study detail to reconcile them.
What is the Biodance collagen mask?
The product covered here is the Biodance Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask, a molded hydrogel face mask. Biodance’s product page lists a four-mask option at $19; pack options and prices can change, so check the current product listing before buying.
The ingredient list shown by Sephora includes water, glycerin, niacinamide, galactomyces ferment filtrate, collagen extract, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid, lactobacillus ferment, bifida ferment filtrate and tocopherol. If you have sensitivities, check the complete, current ingredient list on the package or Sephora’s listing. A product described as hypoallergenic, if that wording appears in a listing, still cannot guarantee that no individual will react.
How long do you leave the Biodance mask on?
Biodance directs users to apply the mask at the end of a skincare routine and wear it overnight, or for three to four hours during the day until it becomes transparent. Sephora gives similar instructions and says there is no need to wash after removing it. Follow the current package directions if they differ from a retailer page.

Can you sleep in the Biodance collagen mask?
Yes. Overnight use is one of the brand’s recommended options. In a March 28, 2025 Who What Wear review, beauty editor Kaitlyn McLintock described the fresh mask as damp, opaque and slippery, then said it became transparent after several hours and stayed on while she slept. She wrote, “I was shocked that it stuck to my skin all night, even through tossing and turning.” That is one editor’s account, not a guarantee that it will stay in place for every wearer.
What do the photos show before and after?
McLintock published photos of the mask at application, the following morning and after removal. She described her skin afterward as smooth, plump and glowy. Those observations are subjective and belong to her documented use; they should not be presented as this article’s own test or as a typical result. See her photo-supported review for the images.

For a useful photo comparison, keep lighting and camera position consistent, and identify when each image was taken. A single before-and-after pair can show appearance at those moments, but cannot establish lasting changes or isolate the mask from other skincare, lighting or normal variation.
Does the Biodance collagen mask really work?
The available pages report short-term hydration and appearance measures, but the figures differ and should not be combined as if they were results from one directly comparable test.

These are brand- and retailer-presented claims; the sources here do not establish independent confirmation, and they do not show what an individual buyer should expect.
