The Bihar Vidhan Parishad ASO Mains admit-card announcement from May 2025 is no longer a current download alert. The Bihar Legislative Council Secretariat later canceled the original Mains exam, issued re-exam and replacement admit-card notices, and listed the final result on 4 October 2025. Candidates should use the Council’s official recruitment notice board to check the latest or archived notice for Advertisement 02/2024.
How to find the Bihar Vidhan Parishad ASO admit-card notice
- Open the Bihar Legislative Council Secretariat recruitment notice board.
- Check that the notice is for Assistant Section Officer (ASO), Advertisement 02/2024, and the exam stage you need. Do not rely on a notice simply because it mentions ASO.
- Review later entries before using an older document. The original May 2025 admit-card notice was superseded by cancellation and re-exam notices, a replacement admit-card notice, and a final result entry.
- If an archived admit-card link is available, follow the official instructions on that notice. The May link’s continued availability or relevance is not established.
What happened to the 2025 Mains exam
The Council’s notice board lists an original ASO Advertisement 02/2024 “Download Admit Card” notice dated 20 May 2025. Scroll reported on 22 May that the descriptive Mains paper was scheduled for 23 May 2025. Scroll also reported 139 candidates shortlisted and 26 vacancies; those figures are Scroll’s, not figures independently confirmed here from the Council’s notice text.

The subsequent official listing changes the practical status: it records cancellation of the Mains exam on 29 August 2025, descriptive re-exam notices on 1 September, a replacement admit-card notice on 8 September, and the final result on 4 October 2025. As a result, the original May card should be treated as historical, not as the valid card for a current exam sitting.
Check that you have the right ASO recruitment
