The result is a roll-number list of candidates shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)—not a final selection or appointment list. Open the official result PDF or visit the CSBC website.
How to check the Bihar Police Constable result 2024
- Open the official CSBC website, and use its results listing to locate the notice for Advertisement No. 01/2023.
- Alternatively, open the official result PDF directly.
- Search the PDF for your roll number. On most devices, use the browser or PDF viewer’s Find function; on a computer, press Ctrl+F on Windows or Command+F on Mac.
- Check that any match is your complete roll number, and read the notice carefully. A roll number in the list means the candidate was shortlisted for PET.
The result document is a roll-number list organized by reservation category. Use the official PDF rather than an unofficial page that asks for an application number or date of birth; the official list can be searched by roll number.

What this result means—and what it does not
This is the written-examination result for Bihar Police Constable recruitment under CSBC Advertisement No. 01/2023. It identifies candidates selected to proceed to PET. It does not, by itself, confirm final selection, appointment, or completion of all recruitment stages.
CSBC’s 2024 result notice reported that 106,594 candidates were shortlisted for PET from 1,194,590 candidates treated as valid after exclusions. Those are counts of candidates at different stages, not an estimate of any individual candidate’s probability of final selection.

The same 2024 notice declared 511 candidates ineligible: 80 for malpractice or FIR-related reasons and 431 for incorrect entries of roll number or question-booklet number. After those exclusions, CSBC reported 1,194,590 valid candidates. Its category-wise vacancy distribution was:

CSBC separately listed a PET schedule notice on 21 November 2024, after publishing the written result. Check the official CSBC results and notices listing for that schedule and any relevant admit-card notice. Use the notice for this recruitment to confirm dates, venue, reporting instructions, and required documents; do not rely on details copied from another recruitment or an unofficial summary.
