Amazon’s 2026 Prime Day ran June 23–26; its October gaming offers were part of Prime Big Deal Days, held October 6–7. That event has ended, so treat reported prices and discounts below as historical—not offers you can assume are still available. Check the live product page and checkout total before buying.
Prime Day or Prime Big Deal Days: which event was in October?
Amazon identifies June 23–26, 2026, as Prime Day and October 6–7 as Prime Big Deal Days. The October event was scheduled to end at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7 (06:59 UTC on October 8). Because that deadline has passed, October event discounts should be considered expired unless a current listing confirms otherwise. See Amazon’s Prime Day event page and Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days roundup for event details.
What gaming deals were reported for the October event?
Meta Quest 3S 128GB
9to5Toys reported on October 7 that the Meta Quest 3S 128GB was $297 shipped on Amazon during the fall event. That is a dated secondary report, not a current price guarantee. Check the live Amazon listing for the storage tier, seller, bundle contents, shipping, and final checkout price before comparing it with other options. Read the October 7 deal report.
Amazon Luna Controller with Phone Clip Bundle
Amazon’s event roundup listed the Luna Controller with Phone Clip Bundle at up to 41% off. “Up to” is the stated maximum discount, not a guarantee that every shopper or listing received that price. The event is over, so confirm whether any current offer remains and check that the bundle and controller work with your intended setup.

Games, headsets and PC gaming gear
October coverage from Tom’s Guide highlighted console games and accessories, gaming laptops, monitors, and keyboards; PC Gamer covered gaming headsets. These are categories to search, not confirmation that a particular item had a valid discount or remains on sale. For games, compare platform and edition, and note whether the offer is digital or physical. For hardware and accessories, verify compatibility, seller, stock, and eligibility on the listing. Tom’s Guide’s October 6 coverage and PC Gamer’s gaming-headset coverage provide category context.
How to check whether a gaming deal is worth buying
- Open the current product listing. Confirm the exact model, storage capacity, edition, bundle contents, seller, stock, and delivery terms; a roundup or old event price does not establish what is available now.
- Check the checkout total. Look for shipping, taxes, and any Prime-only eligibility requirement, then compare the final amount rather than the headline discount.
- Compare against price history. Amazon recommends checking Price History on product pages. Use it to judge whether the current price is meaningfully lower than the item’s usual price, not just its stated list price.
- Match the deal to your platform and use. Check the game’s platform and edition, a headset’s compatibility, or whether an accessory solves a need such as carrying, comfort, or control. A discount is not useful if the item does not fit your setup.
- Recheck before paying. Availability may be limited and prices can change. Confirm the seller and price again at checkout, especially when following older event coverage.
Prime membership and offer eligibility
Amazon said Prime membership was required for Prime Big Deal Days offers. Its event roundup listed U.S. membership at $14.99 per month or $139 per year and said eligible customers could start a free 30-day trial. These are U.S. figures reported for the 2026 event, not a statement of current membership terms; check Amazon’s current offer and eligibility before signing up.
