Cyber Monday fell on December 1, 2025, after Black Friday on November 28. In coverage published around November 30–December 2, the strongest reported values included a Dell 27-inch QHD USB-C monitor around $200 for office work, an MSI 27-inch 4K 288Hz gaming monitor around $230, and an Acer 27-inch 1440p 280Hz OLED around $400. Retail prices, coupons, inventory, and seller details changed during that window; none of those prices should be assumed available now. PCWorld’s December 1 roundup and Windows Central’s Black Friday coverage documented the offers.
Best 2025 monitor deals by use
The picks below reflect prices reported during the late-November and early-December 2025 sale window, not current offers or verified all-time lows. Roundups did not establish exact model numbers, seller identity, or full terms for every listing; where those details are missing, confirm them before comparing a replacement offer.
| Use | Reported 2025 pick and price | Why it stood out | Main qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Office and laptop productivity | Dell 27-inch QHD IPS with USB-C, about $200; model number not stated in the roundup | QHD workspace and USB-C video were attractive for a laptop desk setup. | USB-C charging wattage, data support, ports, stand, seller, and condition were not established; USB-C video alone does not replace a dock. |
| Budget basic display | LG 24-inch 1080p IPS, 100Hz, about $80 | Low-cost option for school, office basics, or a second screen. | Less workspace than QHD and likely simpler connectivity; check exact model and promotion terms. |
| Portable second screen | AOC or ARZOPA 1080p portable USB-C displays, about $50–$60 | Compact choices for travel or small desks. | USB-C video compatibility and power vary; some laptops need separate power. Stands, speakers, brightness, and color are generally compromises to assess. |
| Budget QHD gaming | Acer Nitro 27-inch 2560×1440 IPS, 240Hz, about $169 | High refresh rate and QHD at a reported low price. | The 0.5ms response time was an advertised specification, not an independent measurement; check seller and return terms. |
| Competitive 1080p gaming | Samsung Odyssey G4 27-inch FHD, 240Hz, about $170 | Prioritized refresh rate for esports and less demanding graphics hardware. | 1080p is less sharp at 27 inches than QHD, making it less compelling as an all-purpose display. |
| High-spec 4K gaming | MSI 27-inch 4K IPS, listed at 288Hz, about $230 | Unusually strong reported specifications for the price. | Verify exact model, input and cable requirements, and whether 288Hz is supported at full 4K. Driving that combination requires powerful PC hardware. |
| Large gaming and mixed use | Samsung 32-inch QHD curved, 165Hz, about $200 | More screen area for games and mixed desktop use. | QHD is less sharp than 4K at 32 inches; curvature is a preference. Verify adaptive-sync and HDR details on the exact model. |
| OLED gaming | Acer 27-inch 1440p OLED, 280Hz, about $400 | OLED contrast and high refresh rate at a reported comparatively accessible price. | Check burn-in warranty language, brightness behavior, and whether the display suits static-heavy work. |
| Large-format gaming | Innocn 49-inch 5120×1440, 120Hz, about $540 | Super-ultrawide space for simulation games or several windows. | Needs a wide, sturdy desk and substantial GPU power; confirm return freight and warranty terms for an oversized display. |
Office and productivity deals
Dell 27-inch QHD USB-C: best reported office value
PCWorld listed a Dell 27-inch QHD IPS USB-C monitor at about $200. QHD at this size offers more desktop space than a basic 1080p screen, while USB-C video can simplify connecting a compatible laptop. The listing description did not establish the model number, charging wattage, USB hub capabilities, stand adjustment, or whether Amazon itself or a marketplace seller fulfilled it. Those are consequential differences: a USB-C port may carry video without charging the laptop.
Buy if: you want a general-purpose QHD screen and can verify the exact model and connectivity. Skip if: you need guaranteed one-cable charging, a particular ergonomic stand, or business-grade support that the listing does not confirm.

- QHD Resolution (2560 x 1440) has 1.7 times the pixel density of Full HD for incredibly detailed pinsharp images
- HDR10 provides brighter highlights and nuanced shadow for added depth - making every scene feel more vivid and realistic
- The 180Hz refresh rate minimizes lag for gameplay with ultra-smooth action. Plus, the 1ms response time helps capture your moves in real-time, allowing you to react fast for gaming precision
- AMD FreeSync reduces choppiness, screen lag and image tearing, ensuring that your fast-paced, complex in-game action is stable with minimal stutter
- Ergonomic stand allows for tilt, pivot and height adjustments to maximize gaming comfort
Samsung 34-inch ultrawide: verify the resolution before buying
PCWorld described a Samsung 34-inch wide-format monitor at about $210 as a multitasking value. The description’s “4K ultrawide” wording is not enough to establish native resolution: many 34-inch ultrawides are 3440×1440, not 3840×2160. Do not compare it with a true 4K display until the exact model number and resolution are confirmed. The deal is potentially useful for side-by-side documents and windows, but the unusual resolution label makes verification essential.
LG 24-inch 1080p and portable monitors: inexpensive, with limits
The reported LG 24-inch IPS 100Hz offer was about $80, with Staples identified as the promotion outlet in the coverage. It is a practical class of display for basic work, study, or a secondary screen; 1080p provides less room for multiple windows than QHD. The source did not establish exact model or full port details.
AOC and ARZOPA portable 1080p USB-C monitors were listed around $50–$60. Before choosing one, check whether the laptop’s USB-C port supports display output, whether the cable can supply enough power, and whether a second power connection is needed. A portable screen’s kickstand, brightness, speakers, and color performance can also be more limited than a conventional monitor.

- Quality Visuals: The KG271U 27" IPS monitor with 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution in a 16:9 aspect ratio presents stunning, high-quality images with excellent detail. The zero-frame design does away with the thick frames found on conventional monitors freeing up precious screen space.
- AMD FreeSync Technology: Say “goodbye” to stuttering and tearing. With AMD FreeSync, the monitor’s frames are synced with the graphics card’s frames, which eliminates screen tearing and provide the smoothest gaming experience.
- Up to 180Hz: The 180Hz refresh rate speeds up the frames per second to deliver an ultra-smooth 2D motion scene. With a rapid refresh rate of up to 180Hz, Acer Gaming Monitors shorten the time it takes for frame rendering, lower input lag and provide gamers an excellent in-game experience.
- Responsive!!: Up to 0.5ms GTG (Gray to Gray) response time enhanced gamers’ in-game experience. No matter the fast-moving action or any dramatic transitions will be all rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of smearing or ghosting with KG271U Gaming Monitor.
- New Depths of Color Accuracy: is monitor is ideal for color-critical projects producing accurate colors, supporting DCI-P3 95%. An amazing monitor for graphic designers, photographers, and film editors.
Gaming deals: balance resolution, refresh rate, and hardware
Acer Nitro QHD 240Hz: value for fast PC games
Windows Central reported an Acer Nitro 27-inch 2560×1440 IPS monitor at about $169, with a 240Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium, and a manufacturer-listed 0.5ms response-time claim. That combination targets PC players who want more detail than 1080p and a fast panel. The response-time number is an advertised specification, not a measured result. Windows Central’s deal coverage also noted that offers could disappear overnight or be replaced.

MSI 4K 288Hz: impressive specifications, demanding setup
PCWorld’s leading gaming pick was an MSI 27-inch 4K IPS monitor listed at 288Hz for about $230. At 27 inches, 4K gives crisp desktop text, but sustaining high frame rates at that resolution is demanding. Verify the exact model, supported refresh rate by input, and cable requirements; the headline refresh figure does not by itself confirm that every input can deliver 4K at 288Hz. It is a better fit for a capable gaming PC than for a console buyer who mainly wants 4K/120Hz.
Samsung Odyssey G4 and 32-inch QHD alternatives
The Samsung Odyssey G4 27-inch FHD 240Hz was reported around $170. Its appeal is prioritizing speed over pixel density; 1080p at 27 inches is visibly less sharp than QHD. For a larger mixed gaming and work screen, PCWorld listed a Samsung 32-inch QHD curved 165Hz model around $200. Check the specific model’s adaptive-sync, HDR, and stand features rather than assuming they from the retailer title.

Innocn 49-inch super-ultrawide
PCWorld listed a 49-inch Innocn 5120×1440, 120Hz monitor around $540. The expansive format suits simulation games and multi-window use, but occupies substantial desk width and asks more of a graphics card than standard 1440p. Large curved displays also make return logistics important: confirm packaging, return shipping responsibility, and warranty coverage before committing.
OLED and premium display offers
Acer 27-inch 1440p OLED: the lower-cost OLED pick
PCWorld reported an Acer 27-inch 1440p OLED gaming monitor with 280Hz refresh around $400. OLED can deliver deep contrast and fast pixel response, but burn-in is a risk to evaluate rather than an inevitable outcome. Static taskbars, spreadsheets, and browser interfaces create a different usage pattern from varied games and video. Review the manufacturer’s burn-in warranty terms and any automatic dimming or brightness-management behavior before using an OLED as a static office display.
Large OLED ultrawides and 4K OLED
Other reported premium prices included an Acer 39-inch 3440×1440 OLED ultrawide at about $690, a Samsung 49-inch OLED ultrawide around $850, and an Asus ROG Swift 32-inch 4K OLED 240Hz around $900. The 39-inch Acer’s 3440×1440 resolution gives lower pixel density than the same resolution on a 34-inch display: the larger image can be more immersive but text is less dense. The 49-inch Samsung can replace a dual-monitor arrangement for some users, but requires room and careful warranty and return checks. The Asus combines 4K and 240Hz, a demanding target for a gaming PC and a costly one if the buyer will not use those capabilities.

- 27” QHD IPS DISPLAY: Enjoy stunning detail and vibrant color with a 2560x1440 Quad HD resolution on a 27-inch IPS panel, offering wide viewing angles and precise image quality.
- 240HZ REFRESH RATE & 0.3MS RESPONSE TIME: Take competitive gaming to the next level with a blazing-fast 240Hz refresh rate (via DisplayPort) and ultra-responsive 0.3ms MPRT for minimal blur and maximum clarity.
- ADAPTIVE-SYNC SUPPORT: Say goodbye to screen tearing and input lag with Adaptive-Sync for fluid, uninterrupted performance across both AMD and NVIDIA GPUs.
- TILT ADJUSTMENT: Customize your setup with -3° to +21° tilt range for ergonomic positioning.
- ENHANCED GAMING FEATURES: Includes Shadow Control, Game Mode presets, and a user-friendly graphical OSD menu for fast and intuitive performance tuning.
These are reported prices, not proof of historical minimums. The roundup descriptions do not establish whether every offer was new, open-box, or sold by the retailer directly, and the exact model numbers should be checked before using these figures to compare current listings.
Refurbished deals should be judged separately
PCWorld also listed refurbished examples: an Acer 27-inch QHD 180Hz model around $132 and an LG 32-inch 1440p 180Hz curved model around $189. These are not directly comparable with new monitors at similar prices. Before buying refurbished, confirm:
- Who refurbished and who will handle support.
- Warranty duration, return window, and dead-pixel policy.
- Cosmetic condition and whether the unit was tested.
- Whether the stand, power supply, cables, and other accessories are included.
- Seller identity, shipping charges, and responsibility for return freight.
How to tell whether a monitor discount is actually worthwhile
A large percentage-off label is not proof of value: a discount may use a comparison price that was not the monitor’s normal street price. PCWorld said it weighed price, specifications, and established brand reputation, and cautioned about lesser-known “white-label” brands sold through major marketplaces. Apply the same practical test to any replacement deal:

- Jacks: HDMI 2.0(160Hz max), DP 1.4(160Hz max), Audio Jack(No Speakers) | VESA 100x100mm | Tilt (-5°~15°±2°).
- Match the display to your use. A 24-inch screen is a reasonable fit for 1080p; at 27 inches, QHD is a strong all-purpose balance, while 4K sharpens text but raises cost and GPU demand. At 32 inches, 4K is sharper for desktop work, while QHD can be a gaming value. For a 34-inch ultrawide, verify whether the resolution is 3440×1440 or true 3840×2160.
- Choose refresh rate for a reason. 60–100Hz is adequate for ordinary office use; 144–180Hz suits many gaming setups; 240Hz and above chiefly benefit competitive play and need hardware capable of producing high frame rates. Refresh rate cannot compensate for poor ergonomics, weak contrast, or missing ports.
- Understand the panel trade-off. IPS is a versatile choice with wide viewing angles; VA often offers stronger contrast but can show dark-scene smearing; OLED and QD-OLED offer strong contrast and response but merit burn-in and warranty scrutiny; Mini-LED can provide high brightness and HDR, with possible blooming. These are general panel considerations, not model-specific test results.
- Read the actual port and power specifications. Distinguish USB-C video from USB data and laptop charging, and check the power-delivery rating. For console gaming, confirm HDMI 2.1, 4K/120Hz, VRR, and support for the particular PS5 or Xbox Series X|S feature you need.
- Check ergonomics and ownership costs. Verify height, tilt, swivel, VESA support, warranty, dead-pixel policy, shipping, and return conditions. For a large ultrawide, return freight and safe repackaging can outweigh a small price difference.
- Compare seller and condition. Confirm the exact model, new versus refurbished or open-box condition, who sells and fulfills it, coupon or membership conditions, and the retailer’s return policy. Financing terms should not be mistaken for a lower purchase price.

Where to check when shopping for a replacement
The 2025 prices are expired reference points, not offers to chase as if they were still in stock. Compare the exact model and condition across the retailer and manufacturer listing, and check who actually sells the item when a marketplace is involved. Retailers carry different inventory and have different return and support terms; a category page is not a guarantee of a particular price or product.
