Important date note: The “record low” Apple deals in this roundup came from an early Black Friday sale reported on November 7, 2025. They are historical prices, not guaranteed live offers in September 2026. The strongest current signals in the supplied research are a 13-inch M5 MacBook Air at $949, a 15-inch M5 MacBook Air at $1,149, and an Apple Watch Series 11 reported at $299—but shoppers should verify stock, configuration, seller, and checkout price before buying.
For most buyers, the 13-inch M5 MacBook Air is the best target when its 16GB/512GB configuration reaches about $949 or less. The Apple Watch SE 3 is the sensible budget Watch, while the Series 11 is the better all-rounder when it falls materially below Apple’s $399 starting price.
Quick verdict
| Pick | Best for | Observed price or reference | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| 13-inch M5 MacBook Air, 16GB/512GB | Most buyers | $949 at Best Buy | A useful mainstream configuration with a reported $150 reduction |
| 15-inch M5 MacBook Air, 16GB/512GB | More screen space | $1,149 at Best Buy | Good for multitasking if portability matters less |
| MacBook Neo | Lowest-cost Mac | From $599 in retailer search results; $699 Apple reference | Affordable entry point, but not a substitute for every M-series Mac |
| Apple Watch SE 3 | Budget smartwatch | From $249 at Apple; lower historical sale prices existed | Core fitness, safety, notification, and ecosystem features at the lowest current-model price |
| Apple Watch Series 11 | Most users wanting more health features | $299 reported in recent 2026 coverage; $399 Apple reference | A particularly compelling discount if the exact model is in stock |
| Apple Watch Ultra 3 | Outdoor and endurance use | From $700 at Apple | Worth considering only when the buyer will use its premium capabilities |

13-inch M5 MacBook Air: best value for most people
Best Buy listed a 13-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD at $949, shown as $150 below a $1,099 former price. That is the kind of configuration worth prioritizing: 16GB is more comfortable for long-term multitasking than a lower-memory entry model, while 512GB gives substantially more breathing room than 256GB.
Apple’s current Mac store listed the MacBook Air from $1,299, but that comparison is not automatically apples-to-apples. A retailer may be clearing inventory purchased before a price increase, using a temporary promotion, or listing a different configuration. Compare the chip, memory, storage, screen size, condition, and seller before calculating the real saving. See Apple’s Mac store and Best Buy’s Apple deals listings.
Buy it if: you need a general-purpose Mac for school, office work, browsing, programming, or moderate creative work and the exact 16GB/512GB model is genuinely available near $949.
Wait if: the price is only slightly below the prevailing street price, the listing is open-box or marketplace-sold, or you need more sustained performance and ports than an Air provides.

The 15-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB/512GB was listed at $1,149, reduced from $1,299. The larger display is useful for split-screen work, spreadsheets, editing timelines, and multitasking. The trade-off is straightforward: it costs more, takes up more room, and is less convenient to carry than the 13-inch model.

- Active Noise Cancellation blocks outside noise, so you can immerse yourself in music
- Transparency mode for hearing and interacting with the world around you
- Spatial audio with dynamic head tracking places sound all around you
- Adaptive EQ automatically tunes music to your ears
- Three sizes of soft, tapered silicone tips for a customizable fit
Choose the 15-inch version because you want the larger screen—not simply because the dollar discount looks attractive. If your priority is value and portability, the 13-inch model is usually the more efficient purchase.
MacBook Neo: the budget option
Apple’s current Mac lineup includes the MacBook Neo from $699, while retailer search results showed MacBook Neo listings beginning at $599. Verify the exact product page, because the lowest price may represent a particular memory or storage configuration, a limited promotion, or a seller other than the retailer itself. Apple’s current lineup information is available through its Mac buying page and its 2026 availability announcement.
The Neo makes sense for web browsing, streaming, documents, email, and basic productivity. It is less suitable for sustained creative workloads, professional video or audio production, demanding development work, or buyers who expect to keep a lightly configured machine for many years. Lower memory and storage can become a false economy if the device must be replaced sooner.

MacBook Pro: prioritize the workload, not the biggest markdown
Apple listed the MacBook Pro from $1,999. Recent 2026 deal coverage reported discounts of up to $500 on selected M5 MacBook Pro configurations, but that figure requires configuration-level verification. A large dollar saving on a $3,000 or $4,000 configuration is not automatically a better deal than a $150 saving on a MacBook Air.
The Pro is the right category for sustained professional workloads, software development with heavier demands, media production, more memory, additional ports, or a higher-end display. Check the exact chip, memory, storage, and screen size. The most heavily discounted configuration may contain more capacity than you need—or less than your workload requires.

Best Apple Watch deal signals
Apple Watch SE 3: best low-cost current model
Apple listed the Apple Watch SE 3 from $249. The 2025 early Black Friday roundup reported a 40mm GPS model at $199.99, but that is a historical price. The SE 3 is aimed at buyers who want notifications, basic health and fitness tracking, safety features, and Apple ecosystem integration without paying for the premium sensors and materials of the higher-end models.
Confirm whether a sale model is GPS or GPS + Cellular. Cellular costs more and may require a separate carrier plan; GPS-only is generally the better value if the wearer normally has an iPhone nearby.

Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Apple Watch Series 11: the best all-rounder when discounted
Apple listed Series 11 from $399, while recent 2026 deal coverage reported a price of $299. If that price is available for a new, exact-match configuration, it is a stronger value proposition than a small discount on the SE 3 for shoppers who want the mainstream model’s broader health and fitness feature set.
Do not compare a 40mm or 42mm GPS watch with a larger cellular version without adjusting for case size, connectivity, band, and included materials. The $299 figure should be treated as an observed deal signal, not a guaranteed current offer. See Apple’s current Watch lineup.
Apple Watch Ultra 3: buy for specialized use
Apple listed the Ultra 3 from $700. The November 2025 roundup reported a 2025 sale price of $699.99 and described it as $99 off at the time. That historical price should not be presented as a universal or current record low.
Rank #4
- REBUILT FOR COMFORT — AirPods 4 have been redesigned for exceptional all-day comfort and greater stability. With a refined contour, shorter stem, and quick-press controls for music or calls.
- PERSONALIZED SPATIAL AUDIO — Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking places sound all around you, creating a theater-like listening experience for music, TV shows, movies, games, and more.*
- IMPROVED SOUND AND CALL QUALITY — AirPods 4 feature the Apple-designed H2 chip. Voice Isolation improves the quality of phone calls in loud conditions. Using advanced computational audio, it reduces background noise while isolating and clarifying the sound of your voice for whomever you’re speaking to.*
- MAGICAL EXPERIENCE — Just say “Siri” or “Hey Siri” to play a song, make a call, or check your schedule.* And with Siri Interactions, now you can respond to Siri by simply nodding your head yes or shaking your head no.* Pair AirPods 4 by simply placing them near your device and tapping Connect on your screen.* Easily share a song or show between two sets of AirPods.* An optical in-ear sensor knows to play audio only when you’re wearing AirPods and pauses when you take them off. And you can track down your AirPods and Charging Case with the Find My app.*
- LONG BATTERY LIFE — Get up to 5 hours of listening time on a single charge. And get up to 30 hours of total listening time using the case.*
Ultra 3 is best suited to buyers who will use its rugged construction, larger display, outdoor capabilities, endurance-training features, or premium battery characteristics. For ordinary notifications, workouts, and safety features, the SE 3 or Series 11 may deliver better value at a much lower price.
What the original November 2025 deals actually were
The headline refers to a MacRumors article published on November 7, 2025, covering early Black Friday promotions available that week. The offers below should be read as an archive, not as live deals. The original article was written by Mitchel Broussard and disclosed affiliate relationships with some vendors. Read the original MacRumors roundup.
M5 MacBook Pro at Expercom
Expercom discounts reached up to $234. The article listed these configurations:
- 10-core M5, 16GB/512GB: $1,487.07, formerly $1,599.
- 10-core M5, 16GB/1TB: $1,673.07, formerly $1,799.
- 10-core M5, 24GB/512GB: $1,812.57, formerly $1,949.
- 10-core M5, 24GB/1TB: $1,859.07, formerly $1,999.
MacRumors characterized these as the lowest prices it had tracked for those configurations at that time. That wording matters: it was a publication-specific claim tied to particular configurations and a particular tracking window, not proof that no retailer or market had ever sold them for less.
Apple Watch prices
| Model and configuration | Historical price | Reported saving |
|---|---|---|
| Ultra 3 | $699.99 | $99 |
| SE 3, 40mm GPS | $199.99 | $49 |
| Series 10, 42mm GPS | $279.99 | $119 |
| SE 2, 40mm GPS | $159.99 | $89 |
These were Amazon prices reported in the article. They were configuration-specific and are not current 2026 offers.
Best Value
- This pre-owned product is not Apple certified, but has been professionally inspected, tested and cleaned by Amazon-qualified suppliers.
M5 iPad Pro prices
- 11-inch, 256GB Wi-Fi: $945, $55 off.
- 13-inch, 256GB Wi-Fi: $1,247, $53 off.
- 13-inch, 2TB Wi-Fi with nano-texture glass: $2,298, $101 off.
M4 MacBook Air prices
- 13-inch, 256GB: $749.99, $249 off.
- 15-inch, 256GB: $949.99, $249 off.
The article called the 13-inch price a new low at the time. Because the lineup and pricing changed afterward, these M4 prices should not be compared with 2026 M5 models as though they were identical products.

Deal headlines often compress several different claims into one phrase. Use these distinctions:
- All-time low observed: Supported by a reliable, documented price history.
- Lowest price we’ve tracked: A claim limited to the publication’s own records, retailer coverage, and tracking period.
- Lowest current-generation price: Excludes older models and should identify the generation.
- Advertised discount: Based on a retailer’s “was” price, which may not equal the normal street price.
- Effective discount: Requires a gift card, trade-in, membership, coupon, or other condition.
The November 2025 “record low” language applied to specific M5 MacBook Pro and M4 MacBook Air configurations. It did not establish a record low for every MacBook, Apple Watch, or product color and size.
Apple’s Mac pricing also changed during 2026, so an old Apple MSRP can make a retailer’s percentage saving look larger than the saving against the current market price. Recent reporting on Mac pricing changes is available from Tom’s Guide.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsShould you buy now or wait for Black Friday?
Buy now when
- The exact configuration is at or near a documented low.
- It is a current-generation product from a reliable seller.
- Stock is limited or the promotion is clearly short-term.
- You need the device before the main holiday period.
- The retailer offers price matching or price adjustment during the return window.
Wait when
- The discount is modest and inventory appears plentiful.
- The headline benefit is mainly a gift card or trade-in credit.
- The model is older-generation inventory and you want the longest practical ownership period.
- The deal requires a membership or financing arrangement that does not suit your normal spending.
- A replacement or refreshed model is expected soon.
For expensive MacBook Pro configurations, even a modest percentage reduction can save meaningful money. For Apple Watch SE models, $30–$50 off can be worthwhile, but similar promotions may recur. Judge the offer by configuration quality, price history, retailer protection, and how well the product fits your use—not by the largest headline dollar amount.
How to check an Apple deal before paying
- Match the configuration. For a MacBook, record screen size, chip, memory, and storage. For a Watch, record series, case size, material, GPS or cellular connectivity, and band.
- Confirm condition. Make sure the listing says new if that is what you want. Open-box, refurbished, and clearance products need separate warranty and return checks.
- Confirm the seller. On marketplace pages, distinguish the retailer itself from a third-party seller.
- Read the promotion terms. Check for membership, coupon, credit-card, trade-in, gift-card, or financing requirements.
- Calculate the real total. Add sales tax, shipping, required subscriptions, and any nonrefundable fees. A monthly payment is not the purchase price.
- Check delivery and returns. Verify stock, estimated arrival, return deadlines, restocking rules, and warranty coverage.
- Save evidence. Screenshot the price and terms or note the date and time. Deals can change intraday.
Apple offers 0% APR Apple Card Monthly Installments for eligible customers and products, but approval and an Apple Card are required. Apple also announced Apple Upgrade, a Klarna-provided leasing program starting at $24.99 per month for Mac and $11.99 per month for Apple Watch. Leasing is not the same as owning: compare the full obligation with the cash price, retailer financing, and a direct Apple purchase.
If the deal disappears
- Check the same configuration at Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, Costco, and authorized Apple resellers.
- Search by equivalent specifications rather than color alone.
- Consider Apple Certified Refurbished inventory where available.
- Review price-match or price-adjustment policies.
- Do not silently substitute less memory, less storage, GPS for cellular, or an older generation.
- Recalculate the total after tax and shipping.
Final shortlist
- Best value for most people: the 13-inch M5 MacBook Air with 16GB/512GB at a genuine price near the observed $949 level.
- Best budget Apple Watch: the SE 3 when it is meaningfully below Apple’s $249 starting price.
- Best premium Watch deal: the Ultra 3 only when the discount is substantial and its outdoor or endurance features justify the higher cost.
Those recommendations are based on price, configuration, product positioning, and purchase-risk considerations—not hands-on testing.
