#1 Best Overall
- Division two: $429,971.
- Division three: 45 winners, including six in Western Australia, each receiving $11,879.
The article does not identify the division-one winner, say where the winning ticket was sold, or confirm whether the prize was claimed. It also quotes Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney saying Western Australia had ten division-one prizes worth a collective $10 million that year. That figure concerns the WA prizes described in the article, not the Australian Powerball jackpot. The story separately mentions a $99,000 grant to Uni Camp for Kids; it is not part of the winner’s prize.
