Who is Atlético Madrid’s highest-paid player in 2025/26?
SalaryLeaks lists goalkeeper Jan Oblak as Atlético Madrid’s top earner, estimating his pay at €375,000 per week, or €19.5 million per year, for 2025/26. The source describes its figures as estimates compiled from public reports, rather than verified contract disclosures: SalaryLeaks’ 2025-26 Atlético Madrid salary estimates.
Estimated Atlético Madrid player wages for 2025/26
SalaryLeaks reports an estimated €142.3 million total for first-team salaries in 2025/26. The individual figures below are estimates from that source; its cited material does not establish whether every amount includes bonuses or specifies gross versus net pay.
| Player or group | Reported estimate | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Jan Oblak | €375,000 per week; €19.5 million per year | SalaryLeaks 2025/26 estimate |
| First-team salaries | €142.3 million | SalaryLeaks’ estimated 2025/26 team total |
| Ademola Lookman, forward leader | €12.5 million per year | SalaryLeaks 2025/26 positional-leader estimate |
| Álex Baena, midfielder leader | €8.3 million per year | SalaryLeaks 2025/26 positional-leader estimate |
| Marcos Llorente, defender leader | €8.3 million per year | SalaryLeaks 2025/26 positional-leader estimate |
The positional leaders are the names identified by SalaryLeaks, not necessarily a complete ranking of every player at those positions. Annual figures are useful for comparing the reported estimates; weekly equivalents calculated from annual pay would be rounded and should not be mistaken for separate contract terms.

How official club disclosures differ from salary estimates
Atlético’s official financial-information page describes disclosures including expenses associated with the first team and player agents, alongside accounts and other financial information. It does not confirm the individual 2025/26 salaries in the SalaryLeaks table. The club says its 2024/25 accounts were delivered to La Liga on 14 November 2025 and to Spain’s sports council on 18 December 2025, then filed with the Mercantile Registry on 18 February 2026. Team-level financial disclosure and player-by-player wage confirmation are different kinds of information.
How these wages compare with compensation benchmarks
Handal Dunaway Research’s report on the 2025/26 season, published in December 2025, gives a La Liga median guaranteed compensation of $1.8 million per year and an Atlético Madrid median compensation figure of $7.3 million. These are separate compensation measures, denominated in dollars, and should not be treated as interchangeable with SalaryLeaks’ euro-based individual salary estimates or the club’s estimated wage bill. What a separate pay report can—and cannot—confirm
AS reported that Giacomo Raspadori’s contract pay was €4.5 million gross per season in its 11 August 2025 report on his signing: AS: “Oficial: Raspadori es el séptimo fichaje del Atlético”. That is a press-reported figure with an explicit gross-pay label, not official confirmation of Oblak’s estimated wages or the other entries in SalaryLeaks’ table. Differences among salary tables may reflect source, season, annual versus weekly presentation, bonus treatment, or gross-versus-net definitions; a single cross-check does not establish agreement across datasets.
