That recruitment cycle is closed, and APPSC subsequently issued notices for later selection stages and published a result. What was the final APPSC GDMO 2024 application deadline?
APPSC’s notice dated 28 August 2024 set the revised deadline at 1 September 2024, 1700 hours: “The extended/revised last date of submission of online application is 01.09.2024 (1700 hrs).” The notice was signed by Marto Riba, Joint Secretary-cum-CoE, APPSC. Read APPSC’s deadline extension notice.

This replaced the original closing date of 29 August 2024, before 1700 hours, stated in the August advertisement. APPSC said the other terms and conditions remained unchanged. See the original GDMO 2024 advertisement.
Can you still apply for the 2024 recruitment?
No. The application window for this cycle has ended. APPSC’s later accepted/rejected candidate updates, viva voce notices and result notification show that the recruitment moved beyond registration. The result notice, dated 8 October 2024, followed the written examination and interview/viva voce. Check APPSC’s notifications index and the GDMO 2024 result notification.

What was the GDMO 2024 recruitment?
The advertisement concerned General Duty Medical Officer posts under Arunachal Pradesh’s Department of Health and Family Welfare. It described selection by an objective written examination followed by viva voce. The advertised upper age limit was 35 years as of 29 August 2024, with relaxation under applicable Arunachal Pradesh government orders. For discipline-specific qualifications, category rules, vacancies and fees, consult the complete official advertisement; those details should not be inferred from the deadline notice.
How did applications work for the expired cycle?
The 2024 advertisement directed candidates to apply online through APPSC’s One Time Registration (OTR) and application system. Candidates already registered in OTR could sign in with their existing credentials. Government employees were also instructed to apply online and upload an intimation to their Head of Department or a departmental no-objection certificate. These were instructions for the closed 2024 cycle, not confirmation of requirements for any later recruitment.

Use APPSC’s official website and current recruitment notices to confirm whether a newer GDMO recruitment has been announced. Follow the dates and requirements in that notice: a past application link or the 2024 advertisement does not establish that applications are open now.
