Why other Arsenal salary lists show different figures
There is no single authoritative public list of individual Arsenal wages for 2025/26, and estimates differ by publisher, date, methodology and what each figure includes. For example, a Sporty Salaries table published on 23 September 2025 listed Saka at £200,000 per week, Havertz at £285,000 and Gabriel Jesus at £275,000—materially different from SalaryLeaks’ figures. Its ranking is therefore not interchangeable with the one above.

Sporty Salaries’ September 2025 table is one alternative estimate, not confirmation of the players’ contractual pay. Bet365 also says the Capology figures it uses are estimates rather than official figures, and describes them as gross weekly pay. That distinction matters: gross pay is not the same as take-home income after tax, and estimates may not consistently treat bonuses or other compensation.
The National says its wage information was collected from Capology, Spotrac and reports. It also notes that weekly estimates for Christian Nørgaard, Noni Madueke and Kepa Arrizabalaga were not known for its table. An absent player or an incomplete ranking is not proof of a particular salary. The National’s Arsenal salary coverage is another source-specific compilation, rather than an official payroll disclosure.

What Arsenal’s published accounts do—and do not—show
Arsenal Holdings Limited’s financial statements for the year ended 31 May 2025 report £303.171 million in wages and salaries across the group, alongside social-security and pension costs. They also report an average of 101 playing staff during that financial year. These are aggregate figures for the broader organisation and the 2024/25 financial year; they do not identify any individual player’s 2025/26 weekly wage.
Arsenal Holdings Limited’s 2025 financial statements are the appropriate source for the company-wide totals, not for a player-by-player salary ranking.
Quick Recap
How to interpret a reported weekly wage
- Check the source and date. Salary trackers can revise figures, and their rankings can differ even for the same season.
- Check what the figure represents. A gross weekly estimate is not take-home pay. Sources may also differ on whether bonuses or other compensation are included.
- Keep the season in view. Squad membership and estimates can change during a season, while company accounts cover a defined financial year.
- Do not treat annualized figures as exact contract disclosures. The annual amounts in SalaryLeaks’ table are rounded estimates, not official contract values.
