The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) listing for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSLE) 2026 gives 8 October 2026 at 3:00 PM as the application deadline. However, APSSB’s notice index also shows that this examination process has already reached provisional-result, answer-key challenge, and typing-test/document-verification notices. Check the official portal’s current post details and application status before relying on the deadline. The assignment title uses “CSLE,” but the currently listed 2026 examination is officially called CHSLE; APSSB has also used “Combined Secondary Level Examination” for a separate 2025 advertisement.

APSSB CHSLE application last date

APSSB’s active recruitment listing gives 8 October 2026, 3:00 PM as the last date and time for CHSLE 2026 applications: official recruitment listing. The Board’s notice index, meanwhile, lists a provisional result notice dated 27 September, an answer-key challenge notice dated 28 September, and a batch-wise typing-test/document-verification schedule dated 29 September for CHSLE-2026: APSSB notice index.

Because those notices and the listed application deadline appear in the same process, confirm the current status on APSSB’s portal and read the details for the specific post before taking action. The 2026 listing says CHSLE, not CSLE. APSSB’s archive separately identifies a Combined Secondary Level Examination advertisement for 2025, so the acronyms should not be treated as interchangeable: APSSB advertisement archive.

How to apply for APSSB CHSLE 2026

  1. Read the detailed advertisement for your post. Check the post code and its minimum essential qualifications before beginning the Online Recruitment Application (ORA). Requirements are post-specific; do not assume that one post’s eligibility applies to another. Use the relevant advertisement linked from the APSSB application instructions.
  2. Complete the ORA through the APSSB portal. Enter accurate information and provide a working mobile number and email address. APSSB says it uses email for correspondence.
  3. Follow the instructions for that post. Check the notice for applicable fees and required documents rather than relying on general assumptions. APSSB warns that incorrect particulars may result in rejection or debarment. Eligibility is determined as of the closing date unless the notice specifies otherwise.
  4. Check final submission before the deadline. Sign in and look under “My Finally Submitted Application.” APSSB says an application is not finally submitted unless it appears in that tab before the closing date and time. Save or print the application, including payment details where applicable.

How to check whether your APSSB application was finally submitted

Open the APSSB portal and check “My Finally Submitted Application.” A form that appears complete elsewhere on the site is not enough: APSSB’s instruction says, “However, the Application will not be treated as finally submitted unless and until it is available under ‘My Finally Submitted Application’ Tab before the closing date and time.” Read the Board’s final-submission instruction and retain a printout of the submitted application and payment details, if applicable.

Avoid duplicate applications

APSSB advises candidates to avoid submitting more than one application for the same post. If multiple applications are submitted, the Board says it will consider the one with the higher application number; a fee paid against one application number is not transferred to another. Check the official application instructions if you are unsure how to correct or replace an application.

What to verify before applying

  • The live notice is for CHSLE 2026, not necessarily the separately named CSLE/Combined Secondary Level Examination.
  • The listed closing time is 8 October 2026 at 3:00 PM; verify that the specific post remains open and the portal accepts applications.
  • Your qualifications, eligibility conditions, fee, and any skill-test requirements match the post code in the detailed advertisement.
  • Your application appears under “My Finally Submitted Application” before the applicable closing time.
