The APSC CCE 2023 Preliminary Examination e-Admission Certificate was released for the 2024 exam cycle. The reported download route was through the Assam Public Service Commission website and its candidate login, but the release and exam are over; the login should not be treated as a current service.
How candidates downloaded the APSC CCE 2023 admit card
At the time of the release, candidates were directed to the APSC website, apsc.nic.in, and asked to check their application status before downloading the e-Admission Certificate, as stated in the commission’s February 16, 2024 notice. Contemporaneous coverage described this sequence:
- Visit the APSC website.
- Open the Call Letters/Admit Cards section.
- Select the link for the Combined Competitive (Prel) Examination-2023 e-Admission Certificate.
- Enter the login details requested by the portal and submit them.
- Review the certificate displayed on screen and download it.
- Save or print a copy for exam-day use.
These are the steps reported for the 2024 release, not a verified live download link. The original login page and its exact credential fields could not be confirmed as accessible now.
Exam dates and schedule
APSC’s February 16, 2024 notice initially scheduled the preliminary examination for March 17 at 32 district headquarters. Later news reports said it was postponed by one day, to March 18, 2024. Do not confuse the original notice date with the revised date reported closer to the exam.

What candidates needed to bring
The February 16, 2024 APSC notice said that no hard copy of the e-Admission Certificate would be dispatched and that candidates could not enter the examination hall without it. The Secretary, APSC, also instructed candidates to bring one valid photo ID. Examples in the notice included:
Rank #2
- PAN card
- Driving licence
- Passport
- Voter ID card
- Aadhaar card
- ID issued by an educational institution, government department, public sector undertaking, or other institution
The notice stated: “No candidate will be allowed to enter in the Examination Hall unless he/she produces the e-Admission Certificate.”
Support information from the 2024 release
A Hindustan Times report published February 27, 2024 said candidates could email [email protected] with queries from February 27 through March 10, 2024, until 5 p.m. That support period has expired. Check APSC’s current official contact information for help with any present-day query.

Why the dates can look inconsistent
The examination was part of the CCE 2023 cycle, but the certificate release and preliminary exam took place in 2024. APSC’s February 16 notice gave March 17 as the original date; subsequent reports dated later in February gave March 18 as the revised date. The two dates describe different points in the schedule, not two separate exams.
