Who was eligible?
A degree alone did not qualify someone to apply. Candidates had to belong to one of the specified services and eligible posts, hold a recognized university degree, meet the service requirement, and satisfy the age limit. The advertisement also required an experience certificate from the appointing authority.

- Assam Accounts Service: Accounts Officer or Deputy Accounts Officer.
- Assam Local Fund Audit Service: Audit Officer.

Service, education and age conditions
- A candidate needed to be a graduate of a recognized university.
