What the $699.99 price actually refers to
On November 1, 2025, MacRumors reported that select Apple Watch Ultra 3 models were available for $699.99, or $99 off the reported $799 price. The deal covered selected finishes and band configurations, including Ocean Band and Milanese Loop options. A later 9to5Mac report covered Ultra 3 discounts on Amazon in August 2026, but it does not establish an October 2026 offer. Neither report confirms current inventory or a currently available $699.99 listing.
How to judge the deal against the current lineup

Apple announced Apple Watch Ultra 4 in September 2026, also with a $799 U.S. starting price. That makes Ultra 3 a previous-generation watch as of October 2026. A $699.99 price is therefore best considered in light of the specific configuration, retailer, return terms, warranty, and whether a newer model’s features matter to you—not as an automatic bargain merely because it was once called a record low. - Compare the exact finish and band in the listing; historical discounts applied to selected configurations, not necessarily every Ultra 3.
- Confirm that the listing is in stock, sold by a retailer you trust, and priced at $699.99 at checkout.
- Check the return window and warranty terms, particularly if buying from a marketplace seller.

Apple’s September 2025 announcement gives these battery estimates. They are manufacturer figures, not independent test results, and actual results can vary with use and settings.

The $699.99 figure is a dated deal price from November 2025, not a verified October 2026 offer. If a retailer currently lists the exact Ultra 3 configuration at that price, evaluate it as a previous-generation watch against the newer Ultra 4 and your needs. Do not rely on the historical “record low” label as evidence of live price or availability.
