The Apple Watch Series 11 GPS, 42mm was reported at $339 on Amazon on November 27, 2025—$60 below its stated $399 list price. That was a dated deal, not a verified current offer. As of Macworld’s October 7, 2026 update, Series 11 had been replaced by Series 12, and its U.S. checks found used models only.
What the $339 deal included
AppleInsider reported that Amazon priced the 42mm GPS Series 11 at $339 on November 27, 2025, against a stated $399 list price. The report identified a Space Gray aluminum model with a Black Sport Band (S/M) and said other 42mm colors were also available at that price. It described the reduction as $60. The report also listed 46mm GPS configurations at $379 that day. AppleInsider’s November 27, 2025 deal report records those retailer prices; they do not establish what Amazon charges or stocks today.
Is Series 11 still a good buy in 2026?
It depends on the price gap, condition, and whether the newer model’s features matter to you. Macworld’s October 7, 2026 roundup says Series 11 has been replaced by Series 12 and reports that its U.S. checks found used Series 11 models only. It lists Amazon U.K. observations of £259 for 42mm and £299 for 46mm. These are dated country-specific observations, not guaranteed prices or evidence of U.S. availability. Macworld’s October 7, 2026 deal roundup says Series 11 and Series 12 share a quoted 24-hour battery rating, while Series 12 adds newer health and audio features. If the Series 11 discount is small, compare the newer watch’s features and price before deciding; a wider gap may make a clearance or used Series 11 more compelling.
Compare the exact size and connectivity
42mm versus 46mm
The $339 headline applied to a 42mm model, not the 46mm. Apple’s captured U.S. store listing put aluminum GPS Series 11 at $399 for 42mm and $429 for 46mm; cellular versions cost more. The case size affects fit, and bands must match the case size. Check the listing’s exact size and included band rather than assuming every Series 11 deal is the same configuration. Apple’s U.S. store listing is dynamic, so confirm current pricing and availability before purchase.

GPS versus GPS + Cellular
GPS models can use built-in GPS to track workout routes, but rely on a paired iPhone or Wi-Fi for calls, messages, and notifications. GPS + Cellular can connect away from the phone where supported, and Apple says cellular service requires a carrier plan. Factor any plan cost into the purchase comparison, and check that the model and carrier support the service you need. Apple’s store page describes the configurations and cellular-plan requirement at the same Series 11 store listing.
Check whether a listing is worth the money
- Confirm the live price and stock. The $339 Amazon price was reported in November 2025, and a separate report said Target offered a 42mm GPS Series 11 for $349.99 on October 1, 2026, $49.01 below its stated usual price. Neither report proves a listing is available now. AOB News’ October 1, 2026 report is specific to that date.
- Check condition and seller. Distinguish new, used, and refurbished stock, and confirm the return policy and warranty terms shown by the retailer. Macworld’s October 2026 U.S. checks indicated used Series 11 models rather than new stock.
- Match the configuration. Verify 42mm or 46mm, GPS or GPS + Cellular, case material, color, and band size. Do not compare the price of a GPS 42mm watch with a larger or cellular configuration as though they were identical.
- Compare the successor. Look at the current Series 12 price and decide whether its newer health and audio features are worth paying more for, given the shared quoted 24-hour battery rating reported by Macworld.
