The Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) first extended the Stage II application deadline for the 2022 Police Constable recruitment to 5 p.m. on Nov. 28, 2024. It extended the deadline again on Nov. 28, to 5 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2024. Both deadlines have passed, so the Nov. 28 date is not the final deadline and this notice is not current application guidance.
What changed in the Stage II deadline?
In a Nov. 20, 2024 press release, the Office of the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh SLPRB moved the Stage II online application deadline from Nov. 21 to 5 p.m. on Nov. 28. The release said: “Now, it is desired to extend the date of submission of Stage II Online Application Form from 21.11.2024 to 05.00 PM on 28.11.2024.” Read the Nov. 20 SLPRB press release (PDF mirror).

A second SLPRB press release, dated Nov. 28, extended the deadline once more, to 5 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2024. That later notice superseded the Nov. 28 date. Read the Nov. 28 SLPRB press release (PDF mirror).
Who was Stage II for?
This was not a new 2024 constable recruitment or an opening of initial registration. It concerned the recruitment notified on Nov. 28, 2022, for SCT Police Constable (Civil) and SCT Police Constable (APSP) posts. Stage II was for candidates who had qualified in the preliminary written test and needed to complete the application formalities to attend the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PMT/PET).

The 2022 notification says qualified candidates had to upload scanned certificates and other documents before participating in PMT/PET. The historical Stage II notice directed candidates to submit the online form through the SLPRB website. Read the 2022 recruitment notification (PDF mirror). Its fees and other conditions belong to that recruitment cycle and should not be treated as instructions for a later intake.
Can candidates still apply under the 2024 extension?
No. The final deadline stated in the SLPRB’s Nov. 28, 2024 release was 5 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2024, and that date has passed. The earlier Nov. 28 deadline has also passed.

A separate recruitment cycle should be checked on its own terms. Search results have described a 2026 recruitment, but its schedule and eligibility are separate from this 2022 recruitment’s Stage II process. For current application dates, eligibility, fees and instructions, use the official Andhra Pradesh SLPRB website and read the notification for the exact recruitment cycle. Do not rely on the 2024 Stage II extension for a current application.
