What real-world utility is documented for Solana and Chainlink?
Solana: payments, tokenization and onchain finance
Solana’s official payment documentation describes stablecoin payments, remittances, cross-border payments, merchant acceptance and payouts. Solana-published documentation says the network processed over $1 trillion in stablecoin volume during 2025. That is a network-published figure, not an independently audited measure established here, and it should not be confused with revenue earned by SOL holders.

Solana’s official finance and tokenization materials also describe issuing and operating tokens, onchain markets, tokenized assets, compliance controls and delivery-versus-payment workflows. Its core-concepts documentation describes programs as smart-contract code and transactions as the atomic execution unit. These materials document network capabilities; they do not establish how much value those activities capture for SOL holders.
Chainlink: service payments, staking and cross-chain functions
Chainlink’s official LINK documentation says LINK is used to pay for Chainlink services and contributes to network cryptoeconomic security through staking. Its CCIP documentation describes transferring tokens and data across chains, and Chainlink separately documents CCIP support for Solana. These are documented service and token roles, not evidence that greater service use necessarily produces LINK price appreciation.

What is—and is not—established about XRP and Ondo?
The cited commentary names XRP and Ondo, but the available primary-source material does not substantiate their functions, token economics or risks at a comparable level. Treat them as attributed analyst or editorial picks, not as verified utility recommendations on the strength of those mentions alone. A fair comparison would require checking each project’s own technical and token documentation alongside independent usage evidence.

- Documented use and verifiable activity: Identify what the network or service actually does, then distinguish project-published usage figures from independently checkable measurements.
- Token role and value capture: Determine whether the token is used for fees, incentives, security or governance, and whether that role plausibly connects network activity to token demand. A useful network and a valuable token are not automatically the same thing.
- Supply and dilution: Review circulating and total supply, issuance, unlock schedules and other sources of potential dilution. The commentary cited above does not provide comparable supply data for its picks.
- Liquidity and market access: Check whether the token can be traded in the relevant jurisdiction and whether liquidity is sufficient for the investor’s intended position. No comparable liquidity evidence is established by these analyst lists.
