May 2026 has passed, so any American Golf discount code from that month should be treated as expired unless American Golf confirms otherwise. A third-party archive lists AG50 as “50% Off Any Purchase,” but official terms confirming the offer, eligible purchases or expiry were not established. Do not rely on it as a working code today.
What was the American Golf code for May 2026?
DontPayFull’s 2026 monthly archive reported the code AG50 and described it as “50% Off Any Purchase.” That is an aggregator listing, not confirmation from American Golf. The available listing does not establish which products qualified, whether all customers could use it, or the exact expiry date. No official American Golf May promotion terms confirming AG50 were located.
Because May is in the past, the archive entry is useful only as a historical claim. It is not evidence that AG50 works now, or that it applied to every purchase in May.
How to try a code in the American Golf checkout
- Add the items you want to buy to your basket and open the cart.
- Find the Apply Discount Code field, enter the code as shown in the offer, and apply it.
- Check the order total and any displayed message before paying. If the reduction does not appear, review the offer’s dates, qualifying products and exclusions rather than assuming the code applies.
American Golf’s official promotion-code instructions explain the cart process and say discount codes cannot be combined with another promotion, offer or sale item. Its troubleshooting guidance also directs shoppers to enter promotional codes in the cart and notes that sale items and other offers may prevent use. Restrictions can vary, so the terms for the particular offer take precedence.

What products may be excluded?
American Golf’s help information lists exclusions that include electrical goods, electric trolleys, custom-fit golf clubs, non-standard club sets, personalised golf balls, Garmin products, Foresight launch monitors, SkyCaddie and SkyTrak products, and gift-card or voucher purchases. This is a general indication of restrictions, not verified AG50 terms. Check the individual promotion’s conditions for the actual eligible products.
Discount codes and gift cards are different
A promotional code applies a discount if the order meets its conditions. A gift card or e-voucher is stored value and is redeemed separately at payment, not in the discount-code field. American Golf says gift cards and e-vouchers can be used online and in store, and multiple cards can be used in one transaction. Its gift-card guidance states that they are valid for 12 months; expired cards cannot be reinstated.

Why other dated offers do not confirm AG50
American Golf promotions can be limited by product and date. For example, a Golf Monthly article published August 6, 2026 reported code SWING11 for an extra 11% off qualifying full-price and sale package sets through August 31, 2026. That offer had expired by October 4, 2026, and its category-specific terms do not establish the terms or validity of AG50.
A separate Golfmagic article published May 21, 2026 discussed beginner equipment at American Golf; it does not verify AG50. Lewis Baker, identified there as American Golf’s Custom Fitting Manager, said: “People think that golf is an elite sport, needing at least £1,000 just to get going,” and “But the truth is, most beginners can get absolutely everything they need for much less.” The comments provide context for beginner shopping, not evidence that a particular discount code applied to beginner sets.
