American Airlines announced hundreds of Cyber Week deals for 2026 travel, with offers scheduled to appear at aa.com starting November 28, 2025. That sale has ended: the airline’s current Travel Tuesday page says its Cyber Week deals are done for the year, and it does not establish a new 2026 promotion. The related AAdvantage miles offer also expired on December 2, 2025.
What American Airlines announced for Black Friday and Travel Tuesday
In a November 25, 2025 announcement, American Airlines said it would unveil “hundreds of deals” across Cyber Week for trips in 2026. The airline said offers would begin appearing at aa.com on November 28, 2025. The announcement framed the offers as spanning the Cyber Week period, including Black Friday and Travel Tuesday; it did not provide a complete fare list or a universal discount for flights.
American also said AAdvantage members would be the first to know about the offers and described enrollment as free. The release quoted Chief Marketing Officer Caroline Clayton: “American’s centennial year is rapidly approaching and we’re thinking about hundreds of ways to bring affordable travel to our customers.”
When did the sale start, and is it available now?
The announced flight offers were scheduled to start November 28, 2025. Those dates have passed. American’s Travel Tuesday deals page currently supports fare searches and says, “Cyber Week deals are done for the year.” It is a place to check available fares, not evidence of a new 2026 Black Friday or Travel Tuesday promotion.

What was the AAdvantage miles offer?
American said customers could receive savings of up to 50% when purchasing up to 500,000 AAdvantage miles from November 28 through December 2, 2025. This was a limited-date purchase offer, not a current discount or a discount on airfare. The purchase window has expired, and the announcement does not establish the value of miles for any particular future trip.
How to judge any current fare offer
Compare the price and conditions of the exact itinerary you would book rather than relying on a headline percentage. Airfares can change for multiple reasons, and a promotional label alone does not show that a fare is cheaper than it was earlier. The Associated Press has reported on how percentage-off claims can encourage rushed purchases; its consumer guidance supports checking the actual itinerary and its terms before deciding.
