During that period, reported discounts included up to $300 off selected MacBook Pro models, $250 or more off MacBook Air configurations, $70 off Apple Watch Series 10 models, and savings on AirPods, iPads, Beats products, Mac mini, iMac, and AirTag.
This is a historical roundup of prices observed during that event—not a current August 2026 sale. Amazon confirmed Apple was among the participating brands, while product-level pricing was tracked by AppleInsider. Some deals in that roundup came from Best Buy or B&H rather than Amazon, so retailer labels mattered.

The biggest Amazon Apple deals from Black Friday 2024
Amazon described the promotion as an extended Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday event rather than a one-day sale. Its announcement said new deals would appear throughout the event, with limited quantities and limited durations. Prices could therefore change or disappear before November 29.

The MacBook Pro discounts were the largest dollar savings, but that did not automatically make them the best values. The MacBook Air was generally the more sensible choice for students, office users, travelers, and everyday buyers. The Pro configurations were aimed at buyers who needed sustained performance, more memory, a higher-end display, or additional ports for demanding development, video, or creative work.

Comparing an M2 or M3 Air with an M4 Pro MacBook solely by sale price would be misleading. RAM, storage, screen size, CPU/GPU configuration, and workload were materially different.

Apple Watch prices varied with case size, GPS or GPS + Cellular connectivity, case material, band, color, and coupon eligibility. GPS models were generally better for iPhone owners who keep their phone nearby. Cellular models can be useful for calls and connectivity away from an iPhone, but they may require carrier compatibility and a recurring cellular plan.

Amazon separately advertised discounts of up to 50% on select Beats headphones and earbuds. AirPods Pro 2 were the stronger fit for shoppers prioritizing in-ear fit and advanced noise control. AirPods 4 were a better option for buyers who dislike silicone ear tips or wanted to spend less. The USB-C versus Lightning connector was an important distinction for charging compatibility.

Were these genuinely good deals?
The reported $250–$300 Mac discounts and $70–$100 Apple Watch discounts were substantial, but the size of the discount alone did not establish that every product was the best buy. AppleInsider described several offers as seasonal or record-low prices; those descriptions belong to that deal coverage and should not be treated as independently verified price-history findings.
A sound comparison required checking:
- the exact model number, chip, RAM, storage, and screen size;
- GPS versus GPS + Cellular connectivity;
- current-generation hardware versus closeout stock;
- the price at Apple, Best Buy, Walmart, and B&H;
- available price-history information;
- whether an on-page coupon had to be activated; and
- whether the product was sold by Amazon, Apple, or a third-party marketplace seller.
A cheaper older-generation MacBook Air could be the better financial decision for light users, while the newer or higher-end model could justify its price for buyers with demanding workloads. The same principle applied to iPad mini generations and different AirPods connectors.

Did shoppers need Amazon Prime?
Amazon promoted Prime benefits such as delivery, but its event announcements did not describe Prime membership as a universal requirement for the listed Black Friday Apple deals. A product page could still show item-specific eligibility rules, so shoppers needed to check the listing rather than assume every offer was Prime-exclusive.
What to check before buying from Amazon
- Confirm the configuration. Check storage, memory, chip, screen size, connectivity, case material, and included accessories.
- Check the seller and condition. Review “Sold by” and “Ships from.” Confirm that the item is new, not renewed, refurbished, or used, and review seller feedback and warranty eligibility.
- Activate the coupon. A discount shown in deal coverage may have required manually selecting an on-page coupon.
- Compare retailers. Check Apple, Best Buy, B&H, and Walmart for price, gift-card promotions, trade-in credit, financing, stock, and return terms.
- Check compatibility. Cellular Apple Watch models may require a compatible carrier and an additional plan. Confirm regional model compatibility where relevant.
- Review the return policy. Amazon’s post-event announcement said Apple-branded products purchased from November 1 through December 31, 2024, were eligible for return through January 15. That was a specific 2024 holiday policy, not a guarantee for later purchases.
Amazon versus Apple and other retailers
Buying from Apple can simplify support, configuration, trade-in, and warranty questions. Amazon and other large retailers may offer lower temporary prices, gift-card incentives, faster availability, or different financing and return terms. Marketplace listings can add seller and warranty risk, even when the product page appears alongside official Apple products.

Amazon’s post-event statement called the November 21–December 2 promotion its biggest Thanksgiving holiday shopping event to date, based on its comparison with prior comparable 12-day periods. That is Amazon’s own company-reported claim. Its follow-up coverage highlighted Beats among popular electronics purchases, but it did not prove that any particular Apple-branded product was the event’s best-selling Apple item.
