The luggage prices in Travel + Leisure’s “91 Best Thanksgiving Black Friday Luggage Deals on Amazon” are from 2025, not current 2026 offers. Amazon’s October 2026 Prime Big Deal Days promotion—which included a Bric’s Cervia two-piece set advertised at up to 30% off—was a separate event and ended October 7. As of October 8, 2026, those offers do not establish what Amazon will charge for luggage during Thanksgiving or Black Friday this year.
Are the 2025 Amazon luggage deals still current?
No. Travel + Leisure’s 2025 roundup recorded the following prices at the time it was published. Treat them as historical examples, not live Amazon prices or a forecast for 2026.
| Product listed in the 2025 roundup | Price reported in 2025 | How to use the example |
|---|---|---|
| Samsonite Freeform two-piece set | $196, originally listed at $289 | A historical example of a two-piece set offer. |
| Coolife four-piece set | $150, originally listed at $190 | A historical example of a multi-piece set offer. |
| Delsey Paris Chatelet Air 2.0 two-piece set | $400, originally listed at $690 | A historical example of a two-piece set at a higher reported price. |
| SwissGear 7366 three-piece set | $234, originally listed at $430 | A historical example of a three-piece set offer. |
| Samsonite Evolve SE two-piece set | $163, originally listed at $290 | A historical example of a two-piece set offer. |
| American Tourister Westridge two-piece set | $142, originally listed at $160 | A historical example of a two-piece set offer. |
These are advertised figures reported by Travel + Leisure in 2025; they are not independently established market values. A former “original” price does not tell you whether today’s Amazon listing is a good value. Check the current listing’s price, configuration, and stated reference price before comparing.
What luggage promotion has Amazon announced for 2026?
Amazon’s October 2026 Prime Big Deal Days roundup named the Bric’s Cervia two-piece hardside expandable luggage set and described it as up to 30% off. The event ran October 6–7 and ended at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7. That was a short-lived Prime Big Deal Days offer, not a Thanksgiving or Black Friday deal, and it should not be presented as available now.

Amazon’s 2025 holiday announcement is historical context only: it said Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday ran November 20 through December 1, 2025, and advertised up to 25% off select Away luggage. Those dates and that discount do not establish Amazon’s 2026 event schedule or a repeat offer.
How to compare Amazon luggage deals when 2026 holiday offers appear
Search for “luggage set” if you want to compare the set examples covered in the 2025 roundup, but verify the exact live listing rather than relying on an old roundup or product name. A product name can cover different sizes, colors, or configurations, so confirm that the item in the deal is the one you intend to buy.

- SPACIOUS DESIGN: Large size Best for 2-3 week trips or vacations; measures 20.7 x 12.6 x 30.7 inches, including wheels
- DURABLE AND RELIABLE: Extra-thick hard shell with scratch-resistant finish guards against impact and rough handling
- EXPANDABLE: Increase packing space up to 15% for added flexibility and organization
- ORGANIZED INTERIOR: Keep essentials organized with an interior divider and three zippered pockets
- EFFORTLESS TRAVEL: Navigate with ease thanks to four multi-directional wheels, telescoping handle, and short lift handle
- Compare like with like: Note whether the offer is for one suitcase or a set, how many pieces are included, and what each piece is.
- Check the construction and dimensions: Confirm whether the listing describes the case as hardside or another construction, then check its listed dimensions and whether it is intended for carry-on or checked use.
- Read the price and discount basis: Compare the live price with the listing’s stated reference price. A displayed percentage alone does not establish value.
- Read the offer conditions: Check whether the price is tied to event dates, Prime eligibility, or another condition shown on the listing.
- Confirm stock and configuration at checkout: The offer, availability, or selected variant may differ from what appeared in a roundup. Make sure the cart shows the size and set you compared.
The cited deal coverage does not provide comparative durability testing, so it cannot support a quality ranking among these brands or sets. Base a purchase comparison on the details Amazon currently displays and the features you actually need.
What to verify before calling a suitcase a Black Friday deal
- Check the date. Record when you checked the listing and whether the offer is explicitly part of a Thanksgiving or Black Friday promotion. Do not relabel a different Amazon event as Black Friday.
- Open the exact product listing. Match the brand and model, number of pieces, dimensions, and selected configuration to the offer you are describing.
- Check the current price and availability. Confirm both on the live listing; historical prices from 2025 cannot substantiate a 2026 deal.
- Read the eligibility and timing terms. Note any event deadline or purchase condition attached to the offer.
- Update or remove expired claims. If the price or offer cannot be verified, do not describe it as a current deal.
What the past deal figures can—and cannot—tell you
The 2025 examples show that Amazon luggage roundups have included both single-brand sets and sets with different piece counts, from two pieces to four. They provide search leads—such as Samsonite Freeform, Coolife, Delsey Paris, SwissGear, Samsonite Evolve SE, and American Tourister Westridge—but do not confirm that those exact products will be discounted during the 2026 holiday period.
