Amazon Prime members can save $0.10 per gallon year-round at participating U.S. bp, Amoco, ampm, and Thorntons stations. From October 2, 2026, through January 29, 2027, a qualifying Friday fill-up earns a total discount of $0.20 per gallon on one fuel purchase that day. You must link Prime to a free bp earnify account before redeeming.
How the Prime gas discount works
The regular discount is $0.10 per gallon. During the Fuel Up Fridays promotion, the regular discount and an additional $0.10 add up to $0.20 per gallon on one fuel purchase each Friday at a participating station. Amazon’s announcement does not specify a gallon cap; check the offer terms shown when you activate for any transaction restrictions.
Amazon says the year-round discount is available at more than 7,500 bp, Amoco, and participating ampm and Thorntons locations across the United States. That figure does not mean every station under those brands participates.
How to activate and redeem the discount
- Make sure you have an active Prime membership and a free bp earnify account.
- Go to Amazon’s Fuel page and activate the offer once to connect your Amazon and earnify accounts.
- Find a participating station in the earnify app’s store locator.
- At the station, enter the phone number associated with earnify or use a linked payment method. You can also select the station and pump in the earnify app.
Prime Access and Prime for Young Adults members are included in the year-round discount, according to Amazon’s 2026 announcement.
#1 Best Overall
- Accurate, Dependable Readings: Factory‑calibrated to ±1 PSI, so you can confidently match your vehicle’s recommended PSI (check the door jamb sticker). Ideal for monthly checks and road trips — consistent results every time, cold or warm.
- Bright Backlit Display & Nozzle Light: The illuminated nozzle helps you find the valve stem in the dark, while the backlit LCD makes readings crystal clear in dim garages or at night. No more squinting or holding a flashlight.
- 4 Measurement Units, One Button: Quickly switch among PSI, Bar, Kgf/cm², and KPA with a single press. No complex settings — just press and cycle to your preferred unit. Perfect for drivers who need multiple scales.
- Broad Compatibility for Everyday Vehicles: 0–150 PSI covers cars, SUVs, motorcycles, and spare tires (often 60 PSI). Fits standard Schrader valves; just press on for a reading.
- Auto‑Off to Extend Battery Life: The gauge automatically powers down after 30 seconds of inactivity, so the included 2*AAA batteries last longer. Always ready for your monthly checks without surprise dead batteries.
Which gas stations accept it?
The offer applies at participating bp and Amoco stations and participating ampm and Thorntons locations in the U.S. Use the earnify locator to check the specific station before driving there; Amazon has not published a complete station-by-station list in its announcement.
Can two people in a household use the benefit?
Amazon says two adults living in the same household can share a Prime membership through Amazon Family and use the fuel savings on two separate transactions. Each adult needs a separate earnify account and must make a transaction.

- EASY TO READ IN THE DARKNESS: The large glow dial helps you clearly read the pressure at night or in low light
- EASY TO USE: 360 degree swivel chuck allows you to measure and take a reading from a tire valve at any angle
- ACCURACY IN EXTREME WEATHER: PSI gauge works normally even in extreme cold or hot weather
How much could you save?
Amazon estimates nearly $70 in annual fuel savings, using 675 gallons per year and average fuel economy of 21.5 miles per gallon; the post attributes those usage inputs to the U.S. Department of Transportation. That is an estimate, not a guaranteed payout. Your savings depend on how much fuel you buy at participating stations and how often you use the discount.
Amazon lists U.S. Prime at $14.99 per month or $139 per year in its 2026 post, with discounted membership options for eligible groups. Fuel savings alone may not offset the membership cost: consider how often a participating station fits your routes, your fuel purchases there, and whether you will use other Prime benefits.
