Amazon says the fall event is exclusive to Prime members and ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on October 7. Because that deadline is close, check the live event page for current availability and terms.
Prime Day and Prime Big Deal Days are different events

Amazon calls Prime Big Deal Days a 48-hour event. The names and dates matter: a reference to “upcoming Prime Day” is out of date for 2026, while the October sale should be identified by its own name. Amazon’s announcements do not establish that one event has better discounts than the other.
What Prime Big Deal Days includes
Amazon says offers span more than 35 categories, including fashion, electronics, beauty, toys, home, kitchen, seasonal shopping and holiday gifting. Its announced seasonal themes include fall apparel and shoes, bedding, holiday décor, game-day hosting and tailgating items, Halloween costumes and toys. These are categories and examples—not a promise that a specific product will be discounted or remain in stock.
Amazon names Kindle among products with early savings, but its event guide does not specify a Kindle model, current price or discount. Check the individual listing before deciding whether an offer suits your budget.

Amazon says new Today’s Big Deals drop three times daily: at midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Pacific time during the event. Deal availability and inventory can change, so confirm the current listing and price rather than relying on an earlier announcement.
Use alerts and shopping lists
Amazon describes Alexa for Shopping features that can set alerts for products or categories and surface offers using a shopper’s lists and preferences. These are Amazon-described features; availability and results may depend on the account, device and location.

Check the terms on the listing
Before buying, compare the displayed price with your own budget, confirm the exact model and seller, and review delivery, return and eligibility details on the listing. Amazon’s event announcements describe the promotion but do not independently verify the value of an individual discount.
Can you shop Prime Big Deal Days without a Prime membership?
Amazon says the event is exclusive to Prime members. Its event guide also describes discounted membership options for eligible young adults and students, and Prime Access for qualifying government-assistance recipients or income-verified customers. Eligibility, pricing and terms can change; check Amazon’s current membership pages for your location before signing up.
