That was a maximum for select products—not a discount guaranteed across every item or brand. Prime Day ran July 8–11, 2025, so those offers are historical and should not be treated as available today.
What was in Amazon’s early Prime Day 2025 kitchen preview?
Amazon’s official preview identified three kitchen-related brands—Vitamix, Our Place, and Bentgo—and said select kitchen essentials from them would be discounted by up to 40%. The announcement did not specify which models qualified, their prices, or how many products were included. It therefore supports a brand-level watchlist, not a verified list of 50 individual deals.
Amazon described the summer event as spanning more than 35 categories overall. That figure refers to the full sale, not the number of kitchen categories or products.
Brands Amazon named
- Vitamix: A brand to watch for kitchen essentials such as blenders; the preview did not identify a specific model or establish its price.
- Our Place: Named among the brands with select kitchen essentials in the preview; specific products and discounts were not listed.
- Bentgo: Also named for select kitchen essentials; the announcement did not specify eligible products or prices.
What did “up to 40% off” mean?
“Up to 40% off” was Amazon’s advertised maximum for select kitchen essentials from the named brands. It was not a uniform discount, an average saving, or confirmation that every item from those brands received 40% off. The preview does not provide item-level prices or historical price comparisons, so it cannot establish whether a particular deal represented good value.

How did the early-deal schedule work?
Amazon said its Today’s Big Deals would include daily themed drops, and that new deals could appear as often as every five minutes during select periods. That describes the retailer’s event mechanics; it does not mean a particular kitchen product would be available for five minutes or remain in stock for any set period.
Amazon vice president of North America Marketing and Prime Tech Carmen Nestares described the sale in the company’s announcement: “Prime members can shop with confidence knowing they’re accessing some of our best deals of the summer from brands they love to products they need.” This is Amazon’s characterization of its own event, not an independent assessment of deal quality.

How to assess a kitchen deal if you are shopping a future sale
Because the 2025 preview did not identify models or item prices, shoppers comparing future offers should verify the product listing itself rather than relying on a brand-level discount headline. Compare products that serve the same kitchen task and check:
- The exact model and the price shown at checkout, including any required membership or coupon.
- The seller and whether the item is new, refurbished, or bundled with accessories.
- Capacity, dimensions, and counter or storage footprint for your kitchen.
- Included accessories and whether replacement parts or compatible add-ons are needed.
- Cleaning requirements and warranty terms stated on the product listing.
- Whether the listed discount is meaningful against the product’s usual price, rather than only its displayed reference price.
For any refreshed roundup, date-stamp each checked offer and confirm the exact product, seller, price, and availability at publication time. An event preview alone is not evidence that a particular offer was live or worthwhile.
