Yes: Amazon scheduled its U.S. Prime Day 2025 sale for July 8–11, making it a 96-hour event and the first four-day U.S. Prime Day. But “longest ever” needs qualification: Amazon Singapore held a six-day Prime Day in 2024, and the U.S. event also lasted four days in 2026. The 2025 sale has ended.
When was Amazon Prime Day 2025?
Amazon announced that the U.S. event would begin at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Tuesday, July 8, and run through Friday, July 11, 2025. The company described it as 96 hours of savings. Amazon’s announcement called it the first four-day Prime Day in the U.S.

Was it really the longest Prime Day ever?
Not worldwide. The four-day event was a U.S. record at the time, but Amazon Singapore announced a six-day Prime Day in 2024. The comparison depends on the market and edition, so the 2025 U.S. sale should not be described as the longest Prime Day across all countries and years.
Nor is four days still a unique U.S. duration: Amazon’s U.S. Prime Day 2026 ran June 23–26, also four days. That means 2025 is no longer the current U.S. duration record. Amazon’s 2026 announcement gives those dates.

Did every country have the same dates?
No. Amazon said the July 8 start applied to the U.S., U.K., Canada, and several other markets. Brazil, Egypt, India, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates were scheduled to hold Prime Day later in summer 2025. The July 8–11 dates therefore refer to the U.S. event, not a single worldwide sale window. Amazon’s announcement lists the markets and timing.
What did Amazon say about the sale?
Before the event, Amazon said deals would span more than 35 product categories, including household essentials, pantry items, back-to-school products, health and personal care, toys, books, pet essentials, fashion, beauty, and electronics. Those were the company’s stated categories for the 2025 event, not a guarantee that every item or deal would be available in every market.

Afterward, Amazon said customers saved billions across the event and named Fire TV Stick HD and Ring Battery Doorbell among its best-selling items. These are Amazon’s own post-event claims; the cited company account does not provide an independently audited total for customer savings or event sales.
