What did Amazon advertise?
The announcement covered a range of product categories rather than one sale-wide discount. Amazon promoted deals and launches across smartphones and mobile accessories, laptops and tablets, headphones, speakers and smartwatches, appliances, smart TVs, fashion, beauty and groceries. It also highlighted EMI, exchange, bank-discount and cashback options. The terms depended on the product and offer; no single discount applied to every purchase.
Amazon said the event would feature more than 25,000 new product launches, offers from named brands and a marketplace with over 14 lakh sellers. Those are claims in Amazon’s announcement, not independent measurements.

What were the payment offers and their conditions?
Amazon’s announcement listed a 10% instant discount on eligible SBI debit and credit card transactions and credit EMI, as well as 5% unlimited cashback for Prime customers using the Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card. Both were subject to applicable offer terms and eligibility. The stated discount or cashback was not automatic for every shopper or transaction; buyers needed to check the offer conditions for the item and payment method.
Amazon also promoted EMI and exchange options. A product’s advertised price could reflect eligible bank discounts, coupons or other offers, so the final amount depended on which conditions a buyer met.

What should shoppers take from the announcement?
The announcement is useful as a record of what Amazon promoted for the 2024 festival, but its dates and deal examples have expired. For any later purchase, compare the live product price with the checkout total and confirm card eligibility, coupon or exchange conditions, EMI terms and stock on the listing. Prime early access and the named bank offers were specific to the 2024 event and do not establish what a future festival will offer.
