All 24 Championship teams ranked by total squad market value

What the ranking does—and does not—measure
A combined estimate for each squad
Transfermarkt labels this measure total market value and lists squad count and average value as separate fields. The ranking therefore compares the displayed total for each club, not average value per player. Transfermarkt describes its competition start page as listing participating teams by total market value. Transfermarkt’s Championship competition table is the source for the ranking.
Not a club price or a forecast
A squad-market-value estimate is not an enterprise valuation, a sum of transfer fees already paid, a wage bill or an audited financial measure. Nor does this table establish which team will perform best. It answers a narrower question: how Transfermarkt’s captured page ranked the 24 squads by its displayed total estimate.
#1 Best Overall
How wide is the spread?
West Ham’s displayed €319.60 million is about 33.9 times Lincoln City’s €9.43 million, a difference of €310.17 million. Transfermarkt’s captured page also reports a competition total of €2.28 billion, 656 players and 24 teams; these are the publisher’s 2026 page figures, not independently checked totals. Values are shown in euros as displayed, without currency conversion. Transfermarkt’s table does not provide an exact valuation cutoff date in the accessible text, so changes to squads or estimates may alter the ordering over time.
