Launch reports described a workflow covering international shipping, packaging, warehousing, delivery, tracking and customs assistance—but they do not establish what is available, eligible or priced today. Alibaba.com separately says its Logistics Marketplace stopped service on October 15, 2025; that notice does not settle the status of the Pakistan-specific offer.
What Alibaba.com announced in May 2025
Dawn reported on May 24, 2025, that Alibaba.com had introduced online logistics services tailored to Pakistani exporters, with small and medium-sized businesses among the intended users. The announcement presented the service as a way to help exporters manage international trade logistics.
Launch coverage described an integrated process involving packaging, warehousing and delivery, alongside international shipping options, order tracking and customs advisory or assistance. HUM News English reported a similar set of workflow elements. These are features reported at launch; the reports do not establish that every service is available for every shipment, destination or route now.
Announced reach and delivery partner
Dawn reported Alibaba.com’s stated reach as more than 200 countries and regions in 2025. This is the company’s announced reach as reported at launch, not independent confirmation of current destination coverage.

ProPakistani’s May 22, 2025, launch report named CPEX among the international express-delivery partners. That report does not confirm whether CPEX still participates through Alibaba.com.
What the Logistics Marketplace notice means now
Alibaba.com’s official Logistics Marketplace notice says the marketplace would no longer be in service as of October 15, 2025. It says the page would stop displaying logistics solutions and related features, including consultation and quote requests. The notice directs users to search Alibaba.com for logistics terms or a shipping method such as express or sea freight, then select among verified service providers.

It does not say whether the Pakistan-specific service announced in May 2025 ended or remains available, nor does it establish its current destinations, eligibility, rates or terms. If you are looking for a way to ship products internationally through Alibaba.com, use its current search and provider-selection route as a starting point, then confirm the details directly with the provider before relying on a quote. Compare the following for your specific shipment:

- Estimated transit time: Request an estimate for the exact route and service level; the launch reporting does not supply current delivery estimates.
- Tracking: Confirm what shipment events are visible, how tracking is provided and who to contact if updates stop.
- Customs support: Clarify whether assistance is advisory or operational, which party prepares documents, and what remains the exporter’s responsibility.
- Service terms: Review eligibility, claims and liability terms, cancellation rules, and any conditions that apply to the shipment.
These checks help distinguish a broad platform description from the terms of a particular provider and route. Do not assume that launch-era features or partner mentions apply to a quote you receive now.

Dawn identified Summer Gao as Head of Global Supply Chain at Alibaba.com and reported her saying, “Online logistics services were essential for SMEs in global trade.” Gao also described expected benefits such as streamlined operations, lower costs and access to global markets. Those were company-stated aims; the launch coverage provides no independently measured cost savings, delivery performance or exporter outcomes.
