Airbus reportedly handed over 10 A321-family aircraft on December 19, 2025, in a year-end push to meet its delivery goal. Travel Radar’s account calls them A321neos in its headline and table, but describes the total as A321 aircraft in the article text; that naming discrepancy is unresolved.
What Airbus reportedly delivered on December 19
Travel Radar reported on December 23, 2025, that Airbus delivered 10 aircraft that Friday. The report allocated the handovers among three final-assembly locations and six airline customers:
| Reported assembly location | Aircraft | Airline recipients named in the report |
|---|---|---|
| Toulouse | 1 | Not specified by location |
| Hamburg-Finkenwerder | 5 | Not specified by location |
| Tianjin | 4 | Not specified by location |
The report’s recipient table names Air China and Wizz Air with three aircraft each, and IndiGo, Scoot, AirAsia, and China Airlines with one each. It does not establish which customer received aircraft from which location. The factory and airline breakdowns are Travel Radar’s reporting, not an Airbus bulletin confirming this specific day’s handovers. Travel Radar
There is also a naming inconsistency in that report: its headline and table identify the aircraft as A321neo, while its prose calls them A321 aircraft. The safest description is therefore ten reported A321-family deliveries, without treating the precise variant as independently confirmed.

How the one-day total fit the 2025 target
Travel Radar placed the December 19 deliveries in Airbus’s year-end effort to reach its 2025 goal. The report said the manufacturer had delivered 657 aircraft through November and had reduced its full-year target from 820 to 790. Those were figures reported at the time, not current delivery totals or a statement of the eventual 2025 result.
Airbus delivery progress and target in 2026
The December 2025 event is historical. In the latest monthly figures displayed on Airbus’s official orders-and-deliveries page at the time of reporting, the company recorded 57 deliveries to 31 customers in August 2026 and 475 deliveries to 83 customers from January through August. These monthly and year-to-date totals measure different periods from the single-day 2025 tally. Airbus orders and deliveries

Reuters reported on September 29, 2026, that Airbus commercial aircraft chief Lars Wagner expressed confidence about the company’s 2026 target of around 870 commercial deliveries, answering “Very confident” when asked about the chances of achieving it. That was an expression of confidence, not a guarantee or confirmation that the target had been met. Reuters also described a congested fourth quarter and pressure after a quality issue. Reuters reported on September 25, 2026, that Airbus acknowledged a primer or coating issue on A321neo fuselage stringers. Airbus said the issue did not affect safety; Reuters said a repair had been identified and airlines continued taking delivery of affected aircraft. This later report does not explain or establish a cause for the December 2025 one-day delivery tally. Reuters, September 25, 2026
