The AIIMS-CAPFIMS faculty recruitment advertised 199 vacancies across four ranks—not 199 Professor posts. Applications for the Professor post opened on April 10, 2025, and closed on May 9, 2025. The application period has ended, and AIIMS later withdrew the original consolidated notice in favor of three replacement notices.
What the 199-vacancy figure covers
The recruitment was for faculty positions at AIIMS-CAPFIMS, Maidangarhi, New Delhi. Scroll.in reported 199 vacancies across four ranks:
| Faculty rank | Reported vacancies | Replacement notice |
|---|---|---|
| Assistant Professor | 122 (Scroll.in) | Notice 134/2025 |
| Associate Professor | 30 (Scroll.in) | Notice 135/2025 |
| Additional Professor | 20 (Scroll.in) | Notice 135/2025 |
| Professor | 27 (Scroll.in) | Notice 136/2025 |
The rank-wise counts are attributed to Scroll.in’s contemporaneous report; they should not be read as 199 openings for Professors alone. Scroll.in’s report
Which recruitment notices to use
AIIMS initially issued consolidated Notice No. 126/2025, dated March 30, 2025. It subsequently split the recruitment into three notices: Notice 134/2025 for Assistant Professor, Notice 135/2025 for Associate and Additional Professor, and Notice 136/2025 for Professor. The official corrigendum says Notice 126/2025 “hereby stands withdrawn.” Candidates looking up conditions for a particular rank should use its replacement notice, not rely on the withdrawn consolidated notice.

Professor application dates and later form-completion notice
The official Notice 136/2025 listed April 10, 2025 as the opening date and May 9, 2025 as the closing date for online applications for Professor posts. That window is closed; the original “Apply” wording no longer describes an open application.
On June 17, 2025, AIIMS issued an additional notice for candidates who had paid the online registration fee but had not completed their forms. It allowed those candidates to complete the form by 5 p.m. on June 24, 2025, while stating that the advertised closing dates remained unchanged. This was a limited completion opportunity for that group, not a general reopening of applications.

The applicable replacement advertisement and any corrigenda are the authoritative sources for rank-specific qualifications, age limits, discipline requirements, pay and selection stages. The available details here do not establish those terms for all four ranks, so they should not be inferred from the withdrawn Notice 126/2025.
